Gorgeous Keepsake Recipe Book perfect for well loved family recipes!
This Keepsake Recipe Book which I bought to write out our favorite ethnic family recipes. I learned these recipes from my mother and grandmother who came from Czechoslovak. I know my niece will get much enjoyment for years having these recipes to cherish along with loving the sentimental meaning of the book since she visited a relative still living in Slovakia prior to Covid.The cover is very sturdy and upon opening the book there is a space under “This journal belongs to______,” where the recipient’s name can be written. Also included following the opening page one will find how to properly set a table, a conversion chart, and a few listings of alternative ingredients should one not have a specific ingredient. (Please see the pictures I’ve included so buyers can have a better understanding of what all this recipe book contains).As one gets further inside this recipe book they’ll also see it contains tabs from appetizers, main entrees, beverages to miscellaneous recipes. As one turned to each tab one sees two columns for the recipe index under each category. Finally in the back are coordinating recipe cards the recipient may use to share recipes with friends.This will make a wonderful gift for very special recipes that can be passed down through generations to keep one’s family history in the kitchen alive!

This cookbook is modern and well made. Two things I was searching for for a bridal shower gift for my best friend.Thick paper for the tabbed pages and easy to flip through recipe pages. The added extras like the recipe index, notes on conversions and substitutions, as well as the recipe cards in the back to share with a friend.The spiral binding seems secure and sturdy.The metal gold accents and the feminine colors and design are classy and gives a fun playful element to a traditional cookbook.Will have this on the gift list for the future!

Writing hard to read
I like that it is very sturdy and there are a lot of pages. I also like that the pages are prenumbered so I don’t have to write the numbers myself. The ingredients list could be a little bit longer as well as the directions maybe take the notes off the bottom of the page.What I don’t like is the writing on the categories is very hard to read. It’s very sloppy. I know they were trying to make it look cool, but they defeated the purpose because people can’t read it and I’m actually gonna put tabs on top of theirs that I can read. But I just don’t like the cute sea stuff that they’ve done throughout the book. I think it takes away from the purpose overall though very nice recipe book. This is my third purchase and I’m keeping this one the other two I returned to Amazon.

Having collected recipes from family and friends for many years, the time has come to organize them in a format I can pass on to my children one day.
