Super easy and fun game!
This is by far one of my favorite dice games! It is so easy to learn and you can play it multiple times without getting bored! The score sheet it comes with is really all you need to know how to play. And after you played enough a blank paper would work just fine. It is that easy. You can roll to see who goes first, the first person to go has three chances (or rolls) to get one of the several things listed on the score sheet. You roll, keep what dice you want and put it aside, then roll again. If you didn’t get anything, put a 0 down, if you did get what you were going for write down the score you got. 1s,2s,3s,4s,5s, and 6s you add up (if you were going for 2s you add up all the 2s so if you had two 2s your score would be 4), 3 of a kind, 4 of a kind and chance you add up all the dice and everything else has a score you put down (it is on the sheet so you don’t have to look it up). A Yahtzee is getting 5 (all of the dice) of one number. You can get nothing but Yahtzees and the Yahtzee would count towards anything else you needed on the score sheet. Easy and fun game! All about luck! I could play this with my 5 year old. I have even had toddlers roll the dice for me so they could “play”. Very fun classic family game. Highly recommend! This specific version (travel version) I bought for my little brother and he loves it. I will say he doesn’t complain about anything I give him, but he has always loved this game and was thrilled to have a travel version. He said the dice fit perfectly in the case and that it works fine to roll the dice. Although we tend to roll with our hands. The only reason I am not giving this 5 stars is I think the plastic case could be a little better. It hasn’t broken yet or anything, I just wish it felt a little more well made. But seriously, any version of this game is worth getting!
