Great Value Postpartum Kit – Surprisingly Well Worth It!
This product arrived exactly as advertised. My wife is due to give birth in about a month, and we’ve been preparing ourselves for the arrival of our newest family member. One of the things we’ve packed for the hospital is a postpartum kit in which was gifted to my wife at the baby shower.We initially were planning to use the one that we previously had and buy extra things as needed. The kit we had is a more well-known (and slightly more expensive) postpartum kit than the Momfree Kit. It has a hospital gown and a zippered waterproof storage bag , but it included most of the essential but fewer quantity than the Momfree Kit.After we got this kit and comparing both kits, we found that the Momfree kit is an excellent value for what it offers. While it doesn’t include a hospital gown or a premium waterproof bag (the Momfree does include bag but is more basic), it provides a lot more of the items that are actually useful during postpartum recovery. This includes things like: nursery pads (that was not in the other kit as well), cooling liners, extra socks, lanolin cream ( we purchase this one separately), Reusable hot & cold perineal pads (which my wife also plans to use for chest comfort) and a generous supply of pads and postpartum diapers.My wife and I think that this kit might even last longer than the first one we bought. That is why if I suggest that his might be a great kit to start and have if you dont have anything. Even if it doesn’t include the labor hospital gown (at least my wife this was something she really wanted) I suggest to look for a nicer one separately from Amazon or brands like Lila Gown, where you can choose your favorite color or design. She would value that more and feel pretty during that moment which is also as important. But as far as recovery essentials go, Momfree really delivers.Highly recommend for any mom-to-be looking for a practical, well-stocked postpartum kit!

Wonderful way for one mom to support another
I wish this kit had been around when I had my kids, but I’m so glad it’s available now so I can order it for anyone I know who’s about to have a baby. It comes with all the postpartum essentials a new mom needs after giving birth, including maxi pads, nursing pads, lanolin cream, XL disposable underwear, reusable hot/cold packs, witch hazel wipes, perineal healing foam, a sturdy upside-down peri bottle, no-slip socks, and even a nice drawstring bag for storage or bringing items home from the hospital.While some hospitals provide a few of these essentials, this kit goes above and beyond, and the peri bottle is definitely nicer than the one I received after having both my kids. Everything comes neatly packed in a beautifully presented box, making it a thoughtful baby shower gift or a wonderful way for one mom to support another.The price is about what I’d expect if I purchased everything individually, but the convenience of having it all thoughtfully bundled together makes it an excellent value.

All inclusive recovery kit for the hospital and home after birth
Where was this kit when I had my first child? This includes everything you need to quickly recover ‘down there’ when you get home. Witch hazel is known to help reduce swelling and inflammation, and provide cooling and pain relief. The maxi pads are not as thick and large as the hospital ones, which I appreciate because it always felt like a loose diaper coupled with the mesh undies. Here, they provide a hipster-style disposable underwear that help keep the maxi pad in place. The game changer for me is the reusable hot/cold pads– not only are they amazing and multi-use, they also provide 20 disposable covers so you don’t have to worry about the mess. Overall this is a great kit for any expecting mothers and an amazing deal versus getting the items separately. Maybe down the line they will offer other colors, but I personally like the gray.

Excellent option for new moms
This Postpartum Recovery Kit has everything a new mom will need for post birth aftercare.It includes everything from disposable underwear, ice packs, long pads, nursing pads, lanolin cream and even a pair of no slip socks! (it has more than that, but those were what stood out to me!)This would make an excellent gift for a mom as she comes home from the hospital. People plan for the preparation for the birth, but often forget about mom’s needs once baby has joined the world!This kit is very comprehensive and I feel reasonably priced considering all of the items that it includes.Overall I am very pleased with the variety and quality of the items in this kit. I like that it all comes as a kit so there is no guesswork as to what is needed.
