Perfect for babies who spit up a lot
My son was formula fed from the moment he was born and as we knew this would be the case before he was born we brought a few different types of bottles to the hospital to try just in case he didn’t take to a certain one. We had been using the avent natural but during this time my son had a scare where he had milk come up and out of his nose and mouth causing him to stop breathing for a moment. Luckily at this time we were in the hospital. We switched over to these avent anti colic bottles to reduce the air he was in taking as well as a slower nipple flow. We were amazed at how much better he did on these bottles! He is now a very healthy 6 month old who just only uses the vent on days he spits up a lot. The vent of these bottles are so much easier to clean than dr brown’s vents and I love how easy they are to use in the middle of the night when I’m exhausted. I also love that the vent traps the milk in the nipple so that he is always drinking milk and not sucking in air.

As a first-time dad, finding the right bottle was quite a challenge. After trying several brands, the Philips Avent convinced us completely. My baby adapted immediately, and the best: he has not had gas or colic problems since we used them. I like that they are easy to wash, resistant and the anti-colic design really works. In addition, the flow of the teat is smooth, perfect for the first months. A product that has given us all peace of mind at home.

Avent Baby Bottles
My husband, baby, and I loved these bottles! The design was perfect for holding and great for my baby when using it. When we used the bottle warmer, it kept the temperature very well. The bottles lasted us a long time before our baby switched bottle types on us! There is no weight to the bottle and made it easy for our baby to hold as well. Please check the flow of the bottle tops to ensure that your baby is getting the right flow amount for their age. The flow for my baby when drinking was consistent with no leaking. Overall, these are great bottles, but beware there are a lot of parts to clean!

Great but check tightness of nipple top
I like that these bottles have the cc/ml and the ounce measurements. Material is sturdy, thick. Nipple size #2 is perfect for my 3-4 month old. I bought these because I like that it had the aerator (green piece) to remove bubbles and it does accomplish that. But when you attach the green piece make sure that you twist the nipple top all the way very tightly. Several times it felt like it was twisted all the way but was slightly open and spilled all over me and baby. Just double check that it’s tight before shaking & feeding.

Love these bottles. They do not leak. Design is good. Is very functionable for the age of baby. Flow rate is accurate for the nipple size that they come with. Fits into standard cupholders. Durable plastic. Dishwasher safe.

Product arrived as described, have not yet tested it to see if it works as advertised in preventing colic. However the box came in a poor condition with all the edges very badly damaged. While it probably doesn’t affect the bottles inside much, it just wasn’t too pleasant to receive such a damaged box.
