Good additional help
We got a couple of these from the hospital when we left, but quickly realized that we didn’t have quite enough ice packs. Wife says that these were just as good as what we got from the hospital, so that’s good.If you can get the kit on sale for around $25, then it’s a good deal. As far as ease of use and comfort, she didn’t mention any issues and they were definitely helpful through the healing process after our son.Overall, pretty solid. Would buy again but not for a few years.

Great Gift For Expectant Mother
Truth be told, I got this for myself. I will be having a baby in a few short months and with this not being my first pregnancy I wanted to be prepared. I appreciate that I can have this stuff on hand in case I need it. The hospital might provide you with some of what you need but not all of it so having this has already relieved some of the stress. The quality itself seems to be better than that of the hospital items I might typically acquire at my local hospital. The instant use ice packs, as well as the reusable hot and cold packs are so nice. The peri bottle is already a major upgrade from the one I used in previous pregnancies. The disposable underwear included seems to be more sturdy than I have used in the past. No fear of the material not holding up. This would make for such a nice gift for an expectant mother.

Excellent set; not giftable packaging
I’ll start by saying this set has all the essentials for postpartum recovery… a peri bottle, reusable hot/cold packs, instant ice packs, and disposable underwear. The peri bottle has 2 attachment options depending on the desired flow of spray (upward or outward) and can collapse inside itself during storage. The boy shorts are made well and have a high compression waist. Be aware, I would not consider these “one size fits all”. I’d put them in the small/medium (maybe large) range. My only reason for 4 stars, as this would make a wonderful gift, is the basic cardboard box it arrives in. Even a picture or writing on the outside would add to the giftability factor, but there’s nothing. I feel like I’d have to buy a basket and “dress it up” in order to gift the set (or at least put it in a gift bag separated from the original box).

Perfect gift for every new mom – seriously, they will thank you!!!
After having a baby, there are some parts of your body that just hurt and/or don’t work quite right. This kit is beyond perfect and, at a minimum, make sure to take the bottle to the hospital with you!First, and most important, the Peri bottle. Fill this with warm water and the spray feels so good – plus helps you urinate if that is a problem (as it was for me). Seriously – this is a game changer. In addition to the bottle (which has two different spray options), there are several ice packs (yep – gonna need those) and even two hot/cold packs that you can reuse. In the hospital, they will have you wear a strange gauze-type pair of boy shorts that stretches beyond imagination – and securely holds the monster pads you need to wear after giving birth. Four pairs of disposable boy shorts are included in the kit. They have pretty good stretch – not quite the insane stretch of the hospital ones, but you only need these a few days, so they are great to have and should fit most moms.Nobody ever talks about the potential pain after childbirth – but gifting someone this kit will be extremely appreciated!

Highly recommend for first week after birth
The Perimom Postpartum Kit is perfect for the first week after having a baby. It includes the items one needs to care for their sore bottom / perineum. First, there is a very nice, reusable, portable peri-bottle. It has a bag so it can be carried in one’s diaper bag or purse to use anywhere. It also has two different tips. One points up & the other straight. This is a very usable bottle that can be great for later as well. It can even be used to help a potty training toddler get clean. Next there are four pair of disposable boy short underwear. These are nicer than the mesh ones that you get at the hospital. These will stretch to fit probably size xsmall to xxlarge. There are four disposable instant absorbent pads. These are wonderful. You just snap them to make them cold. Then stick them in the underwear. They provide cooling and healing while also absorbing the post-partum bleeding. Finally, there are two reusable cold/hot pads. I wouldn’t ever use them hot, but you can if you want. Cool them off in the freezer & then put them into the cottony soft reusable liners. These liners have wings that velcro closed. The cottony feel is soft and comfortable against tender skin. The instructions say to hand wash these. But, I toss things in the washing machine. I don’t have time to bother handwashing something like this. All of the items in this kit are high quality and thoughtfully designed to be useful.

This is a great set that is perfect for a new mom or someone expecting. It has everything that will help with postpartum healing! Save someone the hassle of buying this all individually on their own – this is very giftable and would likely be greatly appreciated! I especially appreciate and like the ice packs. If getting this for yourself BRING IT TO THE HOSPITAL. Everything in this is much better quality than what is provided.

Nice kit with everything you need
Perimom Postpartum Recovery Essentials Kit is a nice kit with everything you need postpartum. I love that the icepacks are instantly activated and you do not have to put them in the freezer. The hot cold packs and the underwear are good. The Multipurpose Peri Bottle is kind of cheap feeling but you will only be using it a short time. It is currently on sale for $35 and that is a decent price for this. The only real con is the packaging. It comes in a plain brown box with no writing on it. I had to open the box to see what it was. It would of been nice to have a giftable box for gifting at baby showers.
