Postpartum Care Kit
One of the more neglected areas of discussion after birthing a child is the mother’s comfort and healing. I know that even though we had great hospital care during our birth, the amount of healing needed by the mother was more than we anticipated. This is of course a very sensitive subject, so gifting this kit would only make sense for someone you were very close to.The kit does come with items that help the new mom deal with her recovery. One of the best items in the kit is the peri bottle for cleaning. Ours became indefensible in the weeks after and we have even kept it as a travel bidet afterwards. The other items are also helpful, from the disposable maternity underwear to the cooling pads and cleaning foam. This is a very thoughtful gift for an expecting mother.

Useful Even After Postpartum
I ended up with a c-section, so I didn’t use every single thing, but I was surprised at how much I did use, and how much anyone could use! I joked with my first baby that everyone should have a peri bottle, because it’s basically like a portable bidet. That’s exactly what this one calls itself. It’s much bigger than the hospital ones, and the angle does reach better. I expected those mesh underwear that still need a pad, but the underwear given are just diapers. They are soft and stretchy, but they definitely aren’t high waisted so I think they might be uncomfortable for me. But they are also labeled “menstrual underwear”, so again, they could be used later if you choose. The ice packs are made with those gel balls. I love that they’re reusable. They could be made into an ice pack to lay on top of the incision, or just an ice pack for any everyday aches or pains, even cramps. I didn’t have any reason to use the spray. All of this is around the same price, if not lower than similar packages. It could be a great gift or something to prepare for yourself, no matter how delivery goes!

This postpartum kit comes with a lot of great things that I am excited to use after my baby comes. It was a pretty good value for the variety of everything so I am looking forward to seeing what is able to help my pain the most as well as using the essentials included.

I am sold on this product and company
Actually I got this for myself and not for postpartum. I have cervical spine problems and will be having surgery soon. I like the ice packs because they have the gel beads. They stay cold for a long time, and form well to where ever you need them. The bidet bottle works well, and will be so helpful when I will be in a neck brace. I will be able to take care of myself. There are 12 sleeves for the ice packs so they don’t hurt you, but you can still feel the cold, much better than using a kitchen towel. The adult underwear work well, even for my incontinence due to the damage to my spine. I feel that this kit is a great value for the price, I am glad I got it, it is easy to use, for many different issues beyond postpartum. Good product. It also shipped very fast as well,

Kit of all the Post-Partum essentials to make your parts feel way better!!
I bought this for a friend and I am pleased with the quality and completeness of the kit itself! As a mother of two it definitely has some post-partum essentials that will help with recovery in those days after birth! I was impressed with the ice packs, they are less bulky than what I used post-partum. I was also happy to see that the bottle has an angled spout which is absolutely necessary for ease of wash application. This will definitely help with the pain and inflammation associated with vaginal delivery!

Mungersey postpartum recovery essentials kit
The Mungersey postpartum recovery essentials kit comes with a lero bottle, boric acid foam, disposable underwear, and 2 reusable cooling packs with disposable sleeves. This kit can be a lifesaver in the first week or so after childbirth. Everything is easy to use. The disposal underwear work so much better than trying to stuff pads in the mesh underwear the hospital gives you. The foam helps soothe irritated tissues and used with the ice packs help provide a little pain relief. The peri bottle works well and is plenty big. Good value for the price, I’m sure it would cost more to buy all the item separately. Would make a great thoughtful shower or “just because” gift for any pregnant woman.
