fantastic fun – attach a hammock for mom and dad!
SO GOOD! My kids live in the mountains and actually used the lower zip line to expand this in a different direction like a V! They put their hammock on here as well. That way the whole family has a way to relax at once. My 6 year old is a little small for a few of the additions but loves what he can handle. We got a baby swing and a big saucer type swing to let the 2 year old and 7 month old participate. This family is very digital heavy for school and work so it’s nice to have an extra excuse to get them outside every day and they love it, making me an even happier grandma. They’re moving soon and may end up putting up a post to attach it to at one end. OH, the boys love to swing together and because the line only tightens up so far, the slackness either robs their swing of it’s energy or boosts it as the two swing side by side. It’s like having them jump on the trampoline side by side and sometimes their jumps increase the other and launch them higher.

Great quality
This thing is a huge hit with the kids! I’ve had up to 5 kiddos under 10 going crazy on this thing and it holds up amazing.

Set up before tightening.
A little tricky with some trees and needs better instructions. Also, space out where you want to hang stuff before tightening the straps.

Very sturdy and big fun for the kids!
We bought this to add some fun to our woods . I was a little concerned the straps would get slack in them from the kids bouncing on them but they are very sturdy and we haven’t had to adjust them since we (my husband) installed it. You may need two people to initially get the straps the height you want but if you had to you could do it with one person (handy person). After that just add the swings and bars and rearrange as you like! My kids need the bottom strap to reach the bars but if you have bigger kids you could probably go without the bottom strap. I can already tell this is helping build their muscles and coordination. (My kids are 4.5 and recently 3 here in this video).

The ratchet broke, sending my daughter tumbling to the ground.
Update: well we’ve had it nearly a year now, and my daughter was swinging on it with the included swing that came with it, and suddenly the ratchet came apart with a loud pop, and she fell to the ground. She’s only 10 years old, it’s not like a big adult person was on the line. The ratchet is just not made well, and I guess it’s just a piece of junk. So I wanted to give everybody this update. Now, I can’t really recommend purchasing this item because we put it back together after it had snapped apart, and a few seconds later with nobody even touching the line, it blew apart again. Definitely a safety hazard. When the package arrived, I was surprised that the box was smaller than I imagined, but no – it’s all in that one box. Before we started any assembly, we did lay everything out in an organized fashion to make sure that everything was there – however, there was no inventory sheet that gave quantities. So, after contemplating for the 100th time as to where to put this thing, I decided on a tree and a gigantic 6″ gate post.Mistake #1 – a 6″ diameter post is not strong enough to attach to. Although our post had 48″ in the ground, and a full 8-feet above ground, after we installed everything, I was worried that the top of the post was going to break off, because it was leaning over due to the strap on it. So we took everything down, and back apart, and started over to a new location between two large trees.Mistake #2 – Once you tighten the strap, you cannot move the buckles to adjust the placement of your obstacles. And, you don’t want to be tightening/loosening the top strap too many times, because 1. You’re probably on a ladder, and 2. It takes an immense amount of tension to tighten the strap.Things to note:1. The straps have to be SUPER TIGHT to allow the kids to stand on or hang from them without a lot of sagging. Tightening them is not for the faint of heart.2. The top strap has to be pretty high, or the kids just pull it down too far, even with it super tight.3. The bottom strap – we decided to move it between two other trees, and purchase a third strap to use for it’s top strap, so that they could use the strap and balance-walk on the bottom one. Because trying to have a bottom strap under the obstacle course was just a pain in the butt and not worth it. Especially with the swings there. My daughter likes to swing on the swing, but the bottom strap was in the way. So moving it was the right answer. Also, keep in mind that you cannot get to the other side of the bottom strap with a lawn-mower. So our new location for it was next to our garden shed, where I have to use the string-trimmer anyhow.4. You need BIG TREES to attach this to. I would say that at least 12″ diameter trees would be the best. I cannot stress enough how tight the straps must be to support all of the weight of the obstacles, plus the kids.Overall Opinion:I bought this to get my daughter outside and away from sitting in front of the TV all day during the summer. She loves it, and has already spent a lot of time on it. We also paired this with an outdoor gymnastics mat (inflatable, 20-feet long) and between the two, she is burning a lot of energy outside in the fresh air!Another thought is that, instead of the fabric strapping between the trees, what may have been a better option, and may still be for us, would be to just use wire cable and a cable-winch or come-along to tension the wire. Everyone has their opinions, but we also have a 90-foot zip-line, so we have a little experience with trying to keep a long line tensioned! Cheers!

Nightmare
The product itself is high quality and the concept is awesome however, this has been nothing but a nightmare and I deeply regret buying it. DO NOT purchase if you don’t have two very tall, large diameter trees that are at least 25ft or more apart. As seen in my photos, I had to install a 12ft post, which I buried 4ft deep and then cemented. I secured one end of the Slack line to the post at 8ft high and secured the other end to a palm tree also at 8ft high. It’s approximately 25-30ft long. This failed miserably, so I then built a 8ft high pyramid in the center for support and finally, thought it was good to go. Nope. My 50lb 7yr old hung from one of the accessories and that 12ft post (which is buried 4ft and cemented) began to wiggle and bend. Additionally, his weight managed to draw the taught Slack line way down to the point he was standing on the ground with his knees bent and he’s only 4ft tall. So now… I have to spend more money to brace the 12ft post and borrow a neighbor (a man) to see if he can possibly ratchet the Slack line tighter than I could. I’m a single mom, 110lbs and 5’4″ and built this alone. The cost has been incredible because I purchased two sets of these obstacle courses… one for my older kids and one for my toddler and ended up having to purchase lumber, hardware and tools to accomplish what I’ve done so far and what I’ve done so far still has not been entirely successful. I’m super disappointed and feel like I should have either just bought or built a swing set or built an obstacle course using lumber rather than this Slack line system. This brand is great and again, the quality is great, but my struggle with this has been a nightmare.
