Party & Co.: Prepare for Hilarious Mayhem!
Forget your polite parlor games, folks. Party & Co. Original is like throwing Trivial Pursuit, Taboo, Charades, Pictionary, and that awkward telepathic staring contest you have with your bestie (“Mindmeld,” we’ll call it) into a blender, hitting “pulse,” and then trying to catch the chaotic, laughter-filled explosion!Seriously, this game is FUN. Whether you’ve got a cozy quartet or a roaring crowd of twenty (yes, TWENTY!), Party & Co. scales like a champ. One minute you’re flexing your obscure knowledge, the next you’re desperately miming a lawnmower while your teammates look on in bewildered amusement. Then comes the pressure of describing “cloud” without using “white,” “rain,” or “sky” – friendships WILL be tested! And don’t even get me STARTED on the Pictionary rounds – my artistic interpretations apparently belong in a modern art museum (if that museum only accepts abstract squiggles). But the real kicker? The “Mindmeld” challenge. Oh boy. It’s like trying to guess what the other team had for breakfast… last Tuesday. Utterly bonkers and utterly brilliant for those moments of unexpected connection (or hilarious failure). Now, here’s where our otherwise perfect party bus hit a tiny speed bump. The final winning task. The glorious moment of victory felt… well, almost mathematically impossible. It seemed the opposing team could just gleefully chain-pick tasks that were our collective kryptonite. Picture this: “Okay, for the win, you have to perfectly recreate the Macarena. Blindfolded. While reciting Shakespeare. Backwards.” You get the idea. It felt like we were trapped in a hilarious, high-stakes Groundhog Day of near-wins.So, being the resourceful bunch we are, we implemented a tiny “House Rule Adjustment.” Let’s just say we made the final task a little less reliant on the opposing team’s strategic sabotage and a bit more on our own glorious (or gloriously inept) abilities. The Verdict? Despite our minor tweak to the endgame, Party & Co. Original is an absolute blast! If you’re looking for a game that will have everyone laughing, shouting, and occasionally questioning their life choices (in the best way possible), then grab this box of joyful chaos. Just maybe… have a little chat about the final task beforehand. You’ll thank me later! Oh, and maybe consider flipping the 30 second timer twice so you have two blinks to complete each task. Excellent economical addition to your game closet!

    Fun Game for Large Groups!
I am very happy with the Party & Co. Original – The Fun Packed Multi Challenge Multi Player Board Game, +14yrs. I can’t wait for our next family gathering so we can play this with an even bigger group! This is a group game. Although you can play it with just three people and simplified rules, it’s best played with four teams of five players – or twenty people! With 20 playing it, there is time for some of the groups to visit, or refill their snack plates. It is not a game where everyone needs to pay attention all the time. The game seems a lot like Trivia. Remember trivia? There were little circles with pie shaped holes, and you answered questions around a board to earn pie shapes to put in those holes. This game has markers that look like old-fashioned gramophones, and you gather little records to stack on the gramophone. There five records in five different colors, each color representing one of five categories. Some of the categories are easier than others. If you find the game is a bit too hard for your family, change the rules! We changed Trivia many years ago, and I don’t think we ever played it the “real” way. We said you got a pie any time you answered a correct question, and you didn’t have to be on the specific pie-color space to do it. It still took us over two hours to finish a game! But we spent a lot of time talking, reminiscing, disagreeing on answers, and more.Another difference between Party & Co and Trivia is the timer. There is a 30-second timer that you must turn on for each turn, so the team has just 30 seconds to give a winning answer. Again, if that’s too short for you, just switch to a 1 minute timer. You can usually buy longer timers at game stores or online. One category is Draw. So if I was on a team, and it was my turn to draw a card, I’d draw from the top of the pile, and silently read the word or name after the pencil shape in the green pentagon. This time I draw Mickey Mouse. I then turn the timer to signify the round is starting. Then I draw a stick figure as fast as I can to make it look like Mickey Mouse. Anyone on my team can give an answer. They can all give it at the same time. If they get it correct, then they can roll the dice again and keep on doing as the card says, until they either get a wrong answer to end their turn.I’m not an artist, and being an artist could make the game harder! I need to convey the idea of Mickey Mouse in less than 30 seconds. I get the ears perfect, but the face is wrong. At first my drawing looks more like a cat than the famous mouse. But as soon as I give him shorts with polka dots, my grandkids correctly shout out, “Mickey Mouse!”The One, Two, Three category seems tricky. One team member draws a card and reads from the category card with a light bulb on it. The readers states clearly, “juice.” Then the remaining team members say One, Two, three, and shout out the correct answer simultaneously. The answer would be a brand name that makes juice. So we could shout out Minute Maid, or Welch’s, or Tropicana, to name a few. But if two members don’t give the same single word answer, then their turn is over. There is a category with a question mark next to it. This category is all about facts. It might include states and capitals, vitamins, marvel comics trivia, geography, astronomy, and more. For example: The capital of Minnesota is Minneapolis. True or False? The answer is false, of course. The capital is St. Paul. There is a “forbidden” category. Some reviewers have said that this category is too hard! If it is, then change the rules, or bend them, to suit your family. The category has four words that are “forbidden” to use for the round. So say the word is New Zealand, and you are forbidden to use: Country, Pacific, Island, and Australia. Instead you might start talking, “This land is in an ocean opposite the Atlantic. The shire was built there.” And all of my kids and most of the grandkids would be able to guess “New Zealand” from that little bit.But if the forbidden category is too hard, then choose to eliminate only three forbidden words, or only two. Make the game fit your family! Finally, there is a category on mime. If your card held the name Sigmund Freud, you would have 30 seconds to imitate the iconic psychiatrist. If your team fails, then your turn ends, and another team can play.

Great game that keeps the party going!
This game is definitely fun once you get the hang of it. I played it with a large group of friends, and it was fun because it kept everyone entertained and laughing the whole time. You basically just follow what the various cards tell you to do while following the path on the playing board. It was fun to just hear everyone’s perspectives while playing. I feel that this is more for older teens and adults, so I probably wouldn’t recommend it to children. Great for game nights with your adult friends!

    Family fun trivia and more.
I was surprised at how much my family and I enjoyed playing this game! I wasn’t really sure how anyone would like it because they aren’t huge fans of board games unless they can easily understand the rules. It was really nice to find out that this game was very easy to understand by a quick readthrough of the rules. It is very similar to trivial pursuit, but instead of just trivia questions, there are categories that require you to do other things. In the same way, you have to complete each category to collect the corresponding piece in order to win the game. I like that there are different kinds of categories so no one gets bored with having to answer tons of questions. You’ll have to draw pictures, act things out, try to say the same word as your teammates, and more! I think that this is a great game and definitely worth getting if you enjoy playing board games.

    Super fun with group
We had a group of friends I’ve and played this game, we all had a blast. Favorite part about the game is that you can take your time and enjoy playing. Many times the group got sidetracked, but we where able to just keep playing. For the price I would recommend this game thank you.
