    Worked well for postpartum belly
I chose this after considering MANY options. I didn’t like the options that had a panty/crotch attached, as it seemed it would be a real hassle to use the restroom, need washing more often, and be more uncomfortable. I liked several other waist binding options, but didn’t want to spend a large amount of money on one or they didn’t have a small enough size. I finally settled on this binder. I am/was very pleased with it. I found it comfortable on my skin (even though it says to wear over fabric), it didn’t bunch up much, and had enough adjustability to put on 3 days after delivery and take me back to almost normal size. I did run out of Velcro, but found that the Velcro stuck to the fabric fine anyway, so it was able to go small enough for my waist. Pre pregnancy I had a 25″ waist, and although I haven’t measured, I’m back in my regular clothes and am skinny (although still soft and fluffy). I think this helped me shrink back down faster, although it does nothing for toning – that’s what exercise is for. The other thing it helped with majorly was back support. It really helped me feel supported and more comfortable. I am now 3 weeks postpartum and still put it on when my back is hurting to help feel relief. I did find that this laid flat enough to wear under clothing if one wanted to, but not tight tops. I preferred to only wear mine at home during the day when I could take it off if I desired. Unless you wear low rise underwear, this will go over them, making using the restroom somewhat of a hassle – you either need to take it off or pull on it to adjust everything again. Basically if you want an affordable option to help put things back and give you back support after pregnancy, this would be a good option for you.

    Two Stars
    Just an okay item.

    Excellent quality
I have been using this product for months and it is still in the same shape as the day it came in. Other binders I have tried start to become misshapen and pull apart after a week or so. This holds my abdomen securely in place and really helps with my pain level. It does curl up if I get it down too low on my hips but otherwise it is a wonderful product.

    Fantastic ongoing support!
After over 20 abdominal and intestinal surgeries since 2001, I have a sheet of mesh across my abdomin rather than abdominal muscles. Mesh is not known to hold shape over large areas, so it’s like having one large, moving hernia that swells and churns it’s way around my belly as it digests. To keep ladies from rubbing my belly and asking when I’m due (and then becoming upset when I explain it intestines they are rubbing- not a baby), I have come to depend upon binders. They also provide lumbar support, a flatter looking stomach, and it eases the churning that happens when you have an unsupported intestinal tract. After trying many models of a large variety of brands, I have come to depend upon the ITA-MED 9″ 3 panel as my daily go-to. They provide unparalleled support, are more durable than any other brand I’ve tried, are less likely to roll an bind while providing uniform support. I know many like their binders on the looser side, stating the binder breaths better or is more comfortable. For me, long term, it’s much more comfortable if my innards are all held in place and swelling due to intestines rubbing on mesh is minimized. I’ve made the mistake of ordering the “recommended ” size a couple times only to find it didn’t give me the needed support (and when looser, it tends to hunch and roll). Instead, I order a size down. To put it on, I lay done on my bed, rub my hand across my abdomen to relax out, flatten bulges and smooth my intestines, and then I stretch it and secure it around my abdomen prior to standing. This way, my intestines stay where they go, are less likely to spasm, and the rest of the world can stay blissfully unaware (and away) from my belly issues!

    Size runs large.
I have a large abdominal hernia. My doctor gave me a man’s back brace as the hernia products they had available were inappropriate for women or were not intended to support large hernias. After trying for several weeks to wear the back brace and always having to pull it down and re-adjust it (it would quickly slipped up onto my waist where it ended up being a bulky waist cincher putting even more pressure on my abdomin) I gave up.When you need hernia support, you want something snug so size is important. I wear a size 14 jean (sometimes 12) so I ordered a Large (after debating between L and XL). It is not snug even when the velcro adjuster is at the smallest. Needless, to say, I am returning it today for a medium. There is a size chart on the package but not in the product description. Here it is: measure half way between waist and hips:Small up to 34″Medium up to 38″Large up to 46″X-Large up to 55″2X-Large up to 64″Other than this, it seems to be well made and I have hopes that it will work since I am unable to have surgery and this seems to be one of only a handful of products made for a woman’s figure.

Great for petite women recovering from diastasis recti (separation of abdominal muscles)
I had a small belly pooch 3 months after delivering my baby. Turns out it was a sign that my abdominal muscles had separated and I had a separation that was 2 finger widths wide. My OB told me to get an abdominal binder. I was worried that this product wouldn’t be big enough for my 25 inch waist, but it has been great at making sure that I don’t over use my abdominal muscles and encourages healing. I’ve been using it for a week and I’m already noticing an improvement. It’s comfortable to wear – definitely wear it over an item of clothing. It is thick so it is noticeable underneath a t-shirt.

watch out for the company’s 20% restocking fee
this has a very thick and heavy band all across the front which is hot and why I am returning. surprised to find a 20% restocking fee just now when I was requesting a return. will never buy here again! btw, have found Bird and Cronin most comfortable binder so far.

This was put on me post op as my lipoelastic one hadn’t arrived and I panic bought this. It’s bad, it creased and dug into me, it rides up, doesn’t cover the full area you need it to cover and basically is a waste of money, mine went in the bin next day. Don’t skimp on post op garments, try vinted but get branded as it’s just better quality, don’t ruin the money spent on surgery with crap aftercare, this stage is what counts!
