Works great right out of the box!
This camera system works great and is exactly what I needed to monitor my elderly family member without worrying about the Wi-FI connection. I should purchase another camera, so I don’t have to worry about moving between various areas throughout the house as her mobility improves. The monitor is very portable and convenient as I move about the house as well. Not a single problem so far with connectivity, which just makes everything easier.

Has lots of features, good video quality, charge lasts a while
This baby camera works very well and is very easy to use. You don’t need to connect it to any apps, wifi, Bluetooth or anything. You just plug in the camera, turn on the handheld viewer and it automatically connects. There are a lot of features and settings such as alarms, motion detection, temperature display, nursery songs, two-way communication, zoom, and much more. The handheld monitor is the perfect size and easily fits in your pocket. The video quality is pretty good and you can zoom in pretty far. It also comes with a remote if the person being monitored needs to get the viewers attention, they can press one of four buttons and it will set off an alarm. It comes with 2 charging blocks and charging cords, batteries for everything, and hardware to mount the camera. It’s got everything you need and can be set up in just a couple minutes.

Works, but Feels More Like a Baby Monitor Than an Elderly Care Device
This CallToU “elderly monitor” functions as described, but it doesn’t feel tailored for senior care as it’s marketed. The video and audio quality are decent, and the two-way talk feature works reliably, which makes it useful for checking in on someone in another room. However, the software, sound alerts, and overall interface are clearly designed for infant monitoring. This makes it feel out of place when used for elderly care.The camera itself is straightforward to set up, and the lack of Wi-Fi may be a plus for those who want a simple, closed system without connectivity concerns. That said, other monitors on the market offer more intuitive controls, clearer sound, and better user-focused features for adults.The call button is a nice addition, but the system as a whole doesn’t inspire confidence as a dedicated solution for seniors or dementia patients. The “baby-centric” design may not be confusing for the caregiver, but it definitely feels mismatched to the intended audience.Overall, it’s functional but not ideal. While it can serve as a basic monitoring device, there are other products better suited for elderly care that provide more appropriate software, sound cues, and ease of use.

Review Title Works but it could use some improvements
This is exactly what I wanted… a camera with a monitor and no WIFI needed. The image is grainy and the movement does look a little choppy but really you can still monitor your loved one. I feel like the sound on the camera should have been louder. Mom has trouble hearing, and it’s not loud enough. The sound is also too echo-y. It’s like you using that special effect on the karaoke microphones that make your voice linger. In this instance it’s annoying. Also the wire is way too short! I love that you can see the temperature. It really helps when you live in the tropics and at times the A/C just isn’t doing its job so you need to make sure your loved one is comfortable.

A five star video monitor
Don’t think of this as a security camera. Think of it as a video monitor kind of like a baby monitor but with the camera. They say it’s good for elderly but it’s good for basically anything where you need to monitor from a close proximity. Great for Pets or kids or anything of the sortIt’s got a good picture and there’s absolutely no confusion when setting it up. It’s super easy and earned five stars in my opinion

This monitor has all the bells and whistles! Perfect for my elderly mom who lives alone next door. I know she is safe and she can call me with the key pad of she needs help but this would make an excellent baby monitor as well! Especially as they age! Kid home sick? The key pad allows them to ask for water or help in the bathroom without them screaming. I wish we had this when my boy was young! Excellent product! I’m pleased!
