Cool device that takes patience and trust to set up
The setup wasn’t the easiest, nor was it the hardest. It requires downloading an app, but does not require a subscription, although the company does offer a Cloud account you can pay for (I didn’t partake). I was uncomfortable enabling access to my location and entering my wifi password for the China-based app to work.Once up and running, it startled me with a loud, blaring alarm apparently set off by some noise or motion that the camera was pointing to. I dismissed the alarm and eventually I found the setting to turn it off, but I didn’t see a way to allow alerts that could be configured to be less like tsunami warnings.The app is not as intuitive and well-organized as I’d like. But the coolest part was when I moved the camera left, right, up, and down remotely, like a robot. 🙂 Picture and sound were quite clear. It might take a while to feel your way around the app, but together with the cam, this set does seem worthwhile. The cam doesn’t recognize my micro SD card, but the card was old and I wasn’t sure it was intact. Either an SD card or Cloud is required to save images or videos.The cam must connect to both wifi and a power source via USB cable. The USB cable provided is quite long, which is a plus.

I test a lot of these cameras and this is easily the best one I’ve run acrossThe ARENTI 3MP baby cam is compact, sleek, and surprisingly feature-packed. I mainly use it for checking in on our nursery, but it could easily double as a pet or home security cam. The picture quality is sharp, even in low light, and the cry detection and two-way audio are surprisingly accurate. I also like that it has a temperature and humidity sensor—it’s a small touch, but helpful.Setup through the app was smooth, and the WiFi 6 connection is fast and stable. It’s not as flashy as some of the premium brands, but it does its job really well and doesn’t cost a fortune. A great little camera if you want peace of mind without subscribing to some massive monitoring plan.

Volume/2 way talk is TRASH
The volume/2 way talk on this thing is GARBAGGEEE. I had the Hubble and it worked great til it all of a sudden stopped working. And I purchased this a while back for a vacation we went on. And only used it for this few days then put it back in the box and never used again. Till the Hubble stopped working. Now this is our primary monitor for the time being and my fiance and I literally hate it. The picture quality is pretty good. But the charger is butt, it barely stays plugged in. It did fast, when we use the arrows to move the camera back and forth, it doesn’t work unless you press and hold the arrows down like super hard. And by then it just spins the whole damn camera around way more than you wanted it. But the thing that ruined it for us is the sound quality…trash. Can’t understand a word our child says. She can’t understand us. And her room is VERY small. So it’s not like it’s so far that it can’t pick up the noise. I would never purchase this again

For over a $100 you would hope this product had longevity.We have had it for about 6months. Battery life is short, video quality at night is ehh, freezes often.I wouldn’t spend more than $40 for this mediocre monitor.

La camera marche très bien, je le recommande bon produit. Je l’utilise tous les jours avec mon bebe et l’écran fonction très bien, parfois il perdre le signal, mais il sufi de débrancher et brancher à nouveau la camera.

Great product!Only gave 4 stars because the blue light coming off the camera is so bright, basically illuminates the room and the portable screen/monitor doesn’t have a super long battery life – have to charge it every morning. But otherwise great picture quality and sound for the price!

I got the Arenti baby camera set with two cameras so I can monitor both rooms, and it’s been great! The app works really well on my phone — easy to connect and view live footage anytime. The video quality is excellent, much clearer than other brands I’ve tried. It gives me peace of mind knowing I can keep an eye on my baby from anywhere. Definitely worth it!
