Nice, economical and inspiring family reunion gift sets
Call me crazy, but I was not even aware these kinds of products existed until I just happened to see them listed. And my huge family is not having a family reunion per se coming up; however, we do have a regular family get-together that is incredibly CROWDED once every couple of months, and that is logistically so complicated to set up that an all-out reunion would be technically impossible to set up. So the get-together is as close as it is going to get with my family, but still, when I saw this product, I immediately thought of our dinner get-together and how wonderful this would be for that. I have put all 50 sets of pens, cards/bookmarks and keyrings together with the provided string (it took a couple of hours, but wasn’t that hard using an assembly line system and comedy reruns on TV). All the products provided were in excellent shape as far as I could tell – that is to say, there were none missing or damaged, and everything went together perfectly. I showed my sister-in-law a sample, and she agrees with me that the family will be delighted with the result and was also moved by the motivational and spiritual message written on the card, pen and keyring. I think everyone in our family will enjoy all of these and hope they get a lot of use out of all of the items for many years to come.

The pens come in multiple colors and have a variety of sentimental inscriptions about family, and feature a tree of life design. They have a protective tip cover and have a nice feel in your hand. The coating on the pens has a smooth, rubbery texture that is pleasing. The pens write smoothly and have standard black ink. The bookmarks are printed on cardstock and have a glossy finish on the front with a hole punched in them to allow you to tie them to the pens and keychains. The bookmarks are a decent size and thickness, and have a poignant message. The keychains come with a protective covering on both sides. They seem to be made from a lightweight acrylic and mimic the tree on the bookmarks. Overall, a cute and practical gift for family get-togethers, reunions, etc, with a cohesive theme.The pros/cons to this set are as follows. It is a very affordable and practical gift, especially when buying for a crowd. I think the price is quite reasonable for what you get. The pens are good, but upgrading to gel ink would be great. The keychains are a little unfinished on the edges and look a little dull. If they were polished, it would add a lot aesthetically speaking. The bookmarks give you room to write personalized messages on the back, but I doubt that they will bear the test of time. Laminating them would be a nice way to ensure that the bookmarks last, stay colorfast, and preserve your message. The hemp rope is not precut, which isn’t necessarily bad, but you will need to be cognizant of how long a piece you cut so that you don’t run out. This will take a good bit of time as well to assemble all the items, but it’s not too labor-intensive.Ultimately, it’s a well-done set that will make a nice gift for your family gathering.

Based on the picture I was kind of questioning whether I was going to get 20 of each item because it wasn’t explicitly described or shown but yeah you get 20 of each.Also I’m very particular and when it comes to the texture and feel of things like pens. I really like these pens, they’re very comfortable and flow really well.If you’re doing a family reunion you probably don’t want to do this but I bought these because I want to have matching items for emergency evacuation things but you can actually ride on the back of them with a marker and I’m grateful for that.It is a really great price and I do kind of love that the pens come in different shades of green.Also I plan to use the cards to put in my luggage with my identifying information because you never know if the luggage tags are going to get torn off overall I really love this product more than I can actually put into words.

Great gift idea for a family reunion
So we just had a family reunion and I gave these out with a family tree sheet to everyone in my family so I can get information about my family and their significant others. I’m trying to get my family tree to be a tree and not just a bush. Anyways these are very beautiful and were well received. It did take me awhile to put them all together but it was worth it and I loved doing it. It was definitely a good gift.
