I first saw Nine Men’s Morris being played in the anime To Your Eternity and got curious enough to look it up. I was excited to find this version—simple, lightweight, and doubles as a mouse pad, which is a fun touch. It doesn’t take up much space, so it’s easy to leave on a desk or throw in a bag without it getting crumpled or damaged.My husband and I have had a great time learning how to play. It definitely has a bit of a learning curve at first, but each round we’ve gotten a little better and more strategic. It’s one of those classic games that feels timeless but still fresh every time we play.It’s also been a nice change of pace from screens—just sitting down and playing something old-school, face-to-face. Highly recommend if you’re into strategy games or want something different for game night that’s easy to store and travel with.

Board is printed on mousepad material. The pieces are soft-plastic chess pawns. Board measures 9.25 x 9.25 inches with rounded corners. I just won a timed-per-move game on it as white (photo shows final position)…. It is a fun game.I’d say the set is the perfect size.It would be nice if it came in a box. My set arrived with only plastic bags for storage.
