No upset stomach issues
No issues with this prenatal. It was easy on my stomach. The vitamins in this prenatal worked well with my body’s need. I like that they use the natural vitamin b instead of the synthetic folic acid b.

Lovely prenatal!
I am eternally grateful i was introduced to this prenatal and i will never look at another one again!I have tried many prenatals and this one, by far, knocks its out of the park.I prefer capsules, just for the ease and my own peace of mind that i am getting as much of the quality ingredients as possible. The website provides so much information about the thoughtfully combined ingredients from qualified physicians that i am putting into my body for myself and my little girl. I have tried a sample version of the powder prenatal and found it quite delightful and so easy to combine into my smoothie without leftover residue or aftertaste. I can also attest to the collagen protein powder being just as excellent! This is my 3rd time going back for more and i plan to use these for the rest of my pregnancy, postpartum and any pregnancies, thereafter!

Not recommended
Pills are too big to swallow ( three a day ) … being a pregnant woman n already having issues with being nauseous all day the smell and taste of these did not help …. I wouldn’t recommend

GREAT PRENATAL
I’ve tried several prenatal vitamins throughout my pregnancy journey, but Needed Prenatal Vitamins have been by far the most complete and thoughtfully formulated option I’ve found. From the start, I was impressed by the transparency of the ingredients and the emphasis on quality and bioavailability. The comprehensive formulation really stands out covering not just the basics like folate, iron, and DHA, but also often-overlooked essentials like choline, magnesium, and trace minerals that are crucial for both baby’s development and mom’s well-being. I also appreciate that there’s no unnecessary fillers or synthetic dyes, which can be a concern with other brands. What really won me over was how gentle these were on my stomach. No nausea, no weird aftertaste, just clean, effective nutrition I could actually feel good about taking every day. Their packaging is clean and eco-friendly too, which is a nice bonus! If you’re looking for a science-backed, complete, and high-quality prenatal vitamin, I honestly can’t recommend Needed enough. It gave me peace of mind knowing I was truly supporting my baby and myself the best way possible.

Disappointed
I really wanted to love these. I still think they are probably one of the most researched and highest quality products on the market but it is not working for me.1. It’s super expensive when you consider you have to buy additional supplements to meet basic needs like iron and omega 3s.2. The smell and taste is so terrible that I can barely open the jar without gagging, let alone swallow the pills. I have to take an immediate flavor chaser to subdue the off gas that sits in my mouth after swallowing. I wish I could get over it, in fact I’ve been trying for 3 months, but today I hit my tolerance limit as they left me dry heaving in the kitchen as my toddler screamed and crawled all over me.3. I was taking ritual before and switched for the higher doses in key nutrients, but I do not feel the energy lift I had with ritual, so I’m switching back.4. I usually have a cast iron stomach but if I dare to forget to eat before taking these I get nausea within minutes. Perhaps it’s the strength of the vitamin, but I’m tired of all the consequences of taking these pills.Look for my review of ritual’s prenatal in a couple of months if you want to know how the switch goes for me.

Horrible smell/taste, good nutrient list and decent price point.
I just received my supplements (capsules) about a week ago so I have not been using the supplements long… I don’t have anything to say of the quality yet but my first impression was not good. I got the citrus scent and I smell NOTHING of citrus… Being in my first trimester, the smell is repulsive and I have to plug my nose and drink them with juice…. I’m going to try to make it through the bottle and see if I can get over the horrible smell and taste as I burp it up throughout the morning…. I’ve heard good things about the quality and absorption of the vitamins and minerals so I’m going to try my best. I was going to try to get the other supplement that has double the pills but at this rate, I’ll be sticking with the 3/serving as that’s what I can tolerate.I like that it doesn’t have iron in it because you really should take iron separate from other vitamins for max absorption. And iron needs change between trimesters and personal needs. I also ordered their iron and LOVE it. Really no smell and does not upset my stomach if I take it on an empty stomach before breakfast!

Great quality – just tastes weird
I love how well this parental works – but the taste and smell are not for me. I think the company and quality is great. Just wish the smell / taste could improve – lol! It’s a little on the expensive side for a prenatal but quality is what mattered most to me so I was happy overall! Only reason for 4 star is taste.
