Unusual Banana/Lemony Tea
This is an unusual tea even among herbal teas. When I first saw it I thought perhaps it was some sort of wood chips for a gerbil’s cage or maybe squirrel food. But, it had a very pleasant aroma, so I brewed a pot. It had this wonderful aroma of lemony banana, other fruits and was thoroughly enjoyable. Furthermore, the somewhat coarse cut and woodsiness brewed up a tea that was nearly crystal clear with a color like chamomile tea.I decided that this tea benefits from a longer steeping than most teas; it really brings up the lemongrass. The banana flavor I’ve mentioned is not at all cloying, it is much like the taste of a banana just a few days before full ripeness. It sort of amused me that, especially as a child, I simply could not abide the flavor or texture of really ripe bananas: one brown spot and you could forget it! I wanted my bananas just like this tea tastes. I can’t judge how soporific it is, but it certainly did not keep me awake and left me with a pleasant taste in my mouth and had been a nice way to end the day. I’m going to have some now!

This tea has a very pleasant taste and smell. However, there are very few ingredients to help with sleep. The ingredients that may help with sleep are very sparse and not the bulk of the tea. I won’t order again but have been using it as iced tea

This is my evening tea – and it is the BEST
I love this tea. I like to drink it almost every night and I keep a little back up stock of it. Yes, it is that good. The blend is delightful, with a bit of honey and milk. I usually get two cups of it (I save the leaves for one more cup) and each one is nice. BEST tea ever.
