Why I’m a Huge Fan of EMAY
For ANYONE experiencing any sort of heart issues or concerns, I can’t recommend Emay products enough. In 2020, I started experiencing trigeminy (a third beat) symptoms that came and went. I bought Emay’s EKG monitor and, thanks to its ability to send the EKG results to my doctor, documented my condition that didn’t show up during a normal stress test. Long story short, my Emay monitor was the first crucial step in my getting an angiogram approved which showed the need for CABG x 4 surgery which, thankfully, went very well. Now, almost five years later at age 67, I’m experiencing chest discomfort again so I upgraded to Emay’s 6 lead monitor with its nice display so I don’t need to use an app to see how I’m doing. Hopefully, my issues this time around won’t be as life threatening as in 2020, but this monitor with the ability to reassure me when there is no serious concern right now and be able to again document any problems later, if I need it to, makes me able to recommend this to anyone with even the slightest concern about their heart health.

Glad I chose this one!
I am pleased with the EMAY 6 L Portable ECG Monitor. The monitor is easy to use, and the user manual is well written. Additionally, service responded quickly to my questions. I like that it is a stand-alone device, and doesn’t require a subscription or smartphone to work. It can also be used by multiple family members, and keeps records for each user. I am using this for home screening purposes, and am using it with an Android phone. It doesn’t replace a medical office test, but I think the value is great for home screening purposes. I was also happy there was a discount offered on the day that I ordered. I would highly recommend this item.

Provides helpful info as to what your heart is doing.
I’ve had a history of rare bouts of PVC’s for decades. Having worn holter monitors a couple times and gone through multiple tests they were determined to be nothing to worry about. When it happens though you can feel it and always tends to make me wonder what’s going on for sure.More recently, being a few years recovered from a blockage caused heart attack, I’ve found the rare periods of PVC’s to be quite concerning. My cardiologist’s nurse mentioned they now have handheld ECG devices that can help provide data to the Dr. on the random rare event issues that only tend to last for a few minutes to an hour or so at most but won’t necessarily show up at the DR’s office.I purchased the Emay-6, having talked to a relative that has a similar unit of a different brand without a display. She hates the app for that device, and the way you go about trying to get and look at readings. So far I really like the Emay 6l. There is a bit of a learning curve regarding how to hold it without causing garbage readings, but once you get the hang of it the results are well worth it. You have to use a somewhat relaxed thumb pressure on the unit while seated. You also can’t move around during the reading period (I use the 30 seconds setting).Knowing that a weight workout in the morning following a couple cups a coffee but no food often triggers PVC’s in me, I proceeded to do just that. I then sat on a bench and took a reading when I felt my heart start feeling weird. The Emay flagged it as PVC’s, which is what I was expecting and it gave me peace of mind knowing it just just normal stuff for me and not necessarily something new.You can look over your recordings on the Emay itself, or download to the app, or better yet your PC if you want to more easily look over the different graphs. It also gives you something to send to the doctor, or carry with you to their office when discussing concerns, or events with your heart. All in all, it provides good data, which along with things like self taken blood pressure etc. can help in figuring out good health plans with your doctor.

High-quality device
As a former firefighter paramedic, I have experience, knowledge and understanding of EKG machines and heart rhythms. As an athlete, I monitor my health by tracking my vital signs. I use a pulse oximeter and blood pressure machine, but I have not had a portable EKG machine until now. This device is a standalone, portable EKG machine that has the option of a 1 or 6 lead reading. As I understand it, more leads means more views of the heart so if a problem exists, it can be identified. The device is small, lightweight and very durable. The screen is easy to read and the instructions are clear. I have found it very important to wet your fingers, thumbs and the top of the left thigh for proper conductivity in the 6 lead function. Also, I have found it useful to lightly touch the sensors with your thumbs. As it states in the instructions, if you squeeze, it can cause artifact and an improper reading.. I don’t touch my leg with my fingers and l don’t move. It’s very convenient and easy to use. I also like that it’s a standalone device and that it has the option of pairing with an app. Attached is a photo of a recent reading of mine after using the device. Thank you.

I have a history of mitral valve prolapse syndrome (Barlow’s Syndrome). I felt that in 1980 and visited the cardiologist who let me see it in the ECG he performed for me. That appeared in the form of a Premature Ventricular Complex (PVC). Later, I followed up my case, everytime to undergo an ECG and get a report. Ten years ago, the cardiologist discovered Aortic Valve insufficiency with increased blood regurgitation of both the mitral and the aortic valves, a mild left ventricle hypertrophy and an increased number of PVCs. Recently, I felt that my case needed more frequent visits to the cardiologist for follow-up or, if there is someway, to try to observe oneslf at home. The Emay monitor seems to be an excellent device to use everday to see if there are any developments. This helps to decide on when to visit the cardiologist. My son who is a frequent customer of Amazon, decided to bring it as a gift to me. I am observing my ECG using this monitor on daily basis and I feel it is giving me peace of mind. Of course, according to the EMAY development team recommendations, if I feel any dangerous developments, I will immediately visit my cardiologist. Thanks to the EMAY 6L Portable ECG Monitor team for making things so easy.

Simple to set up, works very easily giving a single or 6 lead ECG reading. Instantly visible on the machines screen, with the option of downloading to phone or PC for a larger scale view. Seems to be accurate in the assessment of the readouts, and is reassuring if normal, but very helpful in knowing when to consult further if not.

I am absolutely delighted with this product. It was so easy to set up, so quick & easy to use & gives instant feedback. I had no problem connecting to my mobile phone, where I also have all the readings stored & can see clearly. My next step is to connect to my laptop so that I can print out for, or email to, my doctor. This was definitely good value for money, so glad I bought it & gives me peace of mind.

only received the device on 12 July 25.The device was well packaged and very secure in its box.I found the instructions easy to follow and it is really clear how to use.The down load of the app was equally easy to download load from the App Store and set up. I downloaded to my iPad. This gives you much clearer results (in my opinion ) and makes the reading easier to view.I have completed 5 reading’s now and I am impressed of the professional lay out of the chart, it looks like the professional ones you get from a medical establishment ie your GP or emergency department.I now feel confident in capturing my heart rhythm when it plays up and sharing the results with the medical professionals. When I have ECG’s at the gp or ed it never captures the arrhythmia I have had. Now I can capture the readings with this simple to use Emay 6 lead ecg device.Read the instructions upon receiving your device, and then practice a couple of times on yourself.Simply hold both thumbs on the two pads left and right and place the bottom pad just above your bare left knee.Hold still for thirty seconds and you have your result. The beauty with this device is it tells you instantly what it detected. I connect it to my iPad via Bluetooth download and I can view the whole thirty second incident. You don’t need a senseless subscription either, what’s not to like.In breath if you are concerned with how your heart is performing this little machine will help give you some peace of mind, it does me.So far very pleased.

The 6L ECG monitor came well packaged and with clear instructions to set up as free standing and using the app from play store. It is important to follow the instructions which reward you with consistent results.I recently found out I had Atrial Fibrillation, so this monitor will allow monitoring my heart. My wife is also using it and this tool has shown she is fine with no abnormalities. This is a great piece of kit at a good price and no subscription required to obtain reports etc…The reports can be sent to your GP for actual diagnosis, which could save your life if treated early.Would definitely recommend this monitor for a guidance on heart condition. The monitor is very well made and excellent quality.
