Finally, a pencil sharpener that works! I’ve been on the hunt for a good pencil sharpener for a while now. As a homeschooling mom of four, I go through pencils often and our old electric sharpener (that didn’t even work well) finally died. This is a dream. You put the pencil in, and it pops out on its own sharpened to a fine point! It charges with a USB cord that works very well and lasts a long time – I’ve only charged it once since I got it and sharpened an entire set of colored pencils too! I highly recommend this item!

Nice Design – Easy to Empty – Not Super Powerful
These electric pencil sharpeners are a lifesaver in the classroom. The design of this one is very clean and simple looking, and the ability to charge it means I do not have to buy batteries. I like the pink metal looking accent around the top and that it lights up green inside where the pencil is inserted. The shavings are stored in a see through cup which you just turn and pop out of the bottom; it is quick and easy to empty. The size of this sharpener is nice because it doesn’t take up valuable counter space like other traditional sharpeners do. Overall, it worked well in sharpening my pencils, but it did seem as though the battery had less powerful and wasn’t as swift as a few that I already have.

I’ve never used an automatic pencil sharpener before. This thing functions extremely well and is very well constructed. Stick a pencil in the top and it sucks it in, sharpens it to a very fine point, and pushes it back out. I normally hand sharpen my pencils as I’m fairly picky on trying to keep a needle point, and this thing does near as good a job as I can do in less time. After using it a few times I was already sold on letting it take over most sharpening duties going forward. Very impressive. 🙂

Works but Lacks Power
This electric pencil sharpener is convenient and easy to use, especially with the auto in-and-out feature and hands-free operation. It’s great for standard pencils and is a good fit for classroom or home use. However, the motor isn’t as powerful as expected — it struggles a bit with harder pencils. Rechargeable feature is nice, but the lack of consistent power makes it more average than excellent.

Flawless Design, Works Great, Looks Great
This pencil sharpener is a welcome replacement for our household’s manual and other battery powered sharpeners. Our youngest sharpened all of her school pencils without a hitch. Perfect points every time and she had fun using the sharpener with it’s self ejecting feature (similar to a a feature in her classroom sharpener).The sharpener could not be easier to use. Simply drop the pencil in the top hole and the unit does the rest, ejecting the pencil when it’s done. The rear of the sharpener has a sticker explaining the different color indication lights: charging, in use, fully charged, shavings full, low battery.One feature that made me gravitate to this sharpener is the aesthetics… it looks really nice compared to other more industrial looking units. This sharpener is a simple cylinder, with clean lines, and looks great on a desk.Definite 5-star rating.

This is a good looking little sharpener that produces really sharp pencil points. You just stick the pencil in, it sucks it down, sharpens it, automatically stops when the pencil is sharpened, then gently pushes the pencil out a little. Hands free! Where was something like this when my kids were little and my son was obsessed with sharpening pencils? It seems quieter than my plug in sharpener. I like that it charges and you don’t need to keep it plugged in since I never have enough outlets. It’s light weight and looks like a sleek white canister on my desk, as opposed to some clunky black box tucked away on a bookcase by an open outlet. This one is going to my vacation condo where we use an old hand sharpener from our kids elementary days, and it will fit nicely in my suitcase. I hope it lasts, since it’s cute and effective.
