Hilarious New Game Night Essential
Acting out the cards from this game is so hilarious in itself but seeing everyone else’s guesses of what you’re acting out is even better in my opinion! Guessing right is the best feeling ever though 🤣

Fun – But Needs A Few Tweaks
What you get – Acting Out game with 200 card promptsPros – this is a fun update on Charades and can work with a group as small as three but the more people the better for team play. Unlike traditional charades where knowledge of genres is required – this is more of a fun take on acting out crazy scenarios so more age ranges can play together more easily.Cons – They don’t provide a timer and as it is a set 15 seconds each time I think this is something that really needed to be included. We found that 30 seconds was a better time limit as some of the answers are quite long to write out.Overall – I think the 12 and up age is appropriate and it is definietly a fun game for Christmas gatherings etc

Fun charades-like game with hilarious clues and good but not the best quality components
This game is a lot like charades but with a difference. The clues, written on cards, are absolutely hilarious. Some examples:- Rubbing a lamp but the genie is dead- Grabbing toddlers and wrapping them in gift boxes- The dog who finally catches a carPlay is similar to charades, except instead of teams you have one actor and everyone else trying to guess what the actor is doing by writing them on a personal dry-erase board (as opposed to shouting them out). There is a total of 6 markers and 6 dry erase boards. The answers can be even more hilarious than the clues. The actor writes the real prompt on his board and mixes them all together into a pile.Their scoring system is a little confusing.- The actor reads all the guesses out loud.- Everyone votes for what they think the real prompt is- If a player votes for the real prompt correctly, they AND the actor get one point- A player will also receive a vote every time someone votes for their prompt (even if it was wrong)- If a player guessed the prompt word-for-word, they get 5 points off the bat and can’t voteI had to re-read it a few times and I still don’t really get it. It’s probably a case where you’ll probably want to make up your own rules and scoring system after playing a few times.I was a bit disappointed at the quality of the white boards and markers. They were a bit cheap and won’t withstand more than a few plays. On the other hand, the quality of the cards was very good, and the creativity of the prompts is excellent and the star of the game.Overall it’s a well thought-out game and out of the box things look professional. Aside from the quality of some of the parts, it’s a great game to play with a small group.

SUPER FUN – Perfect Large Group Game!
We’ve played this game 7-8 times over the past few months and it’s really a perfect and super fun large-group game. You can play it with just 4 people but it shines with 8+; we’ve even played with 24 and it’s honestly the more the merrier. Like other reviews have said, it’s basically charades. But you guys, the card prompts are really good. The ideas hit the perfect balance of funny, creative, and yet actually doable (a couple I don’t know how you’d ever be able to guess but trying is still fun). Our favorite way to play is in teams (the box says 4-6 players but that’s for individuals), and we let the team decide if they want to act out the card with 1,2, or 3 people. The acting has everyone laughing, and wrong guesses are of course the funniest part. It isn’t often that we guess the card *exactly* right, but everyone’s impressed when a team/person does. We also upped the timer limit to 90 seconds but if the acting is going well and people are enjoying guessing we’ll put another minute on – we’re not timer-strict. This is a great game for drama clubs, camps, church groups, family gatherings, and game nights with friends. It’d make an excellent holiday gift when you expect a lot of family in town and need activities to entertain everyone. It’s suggested on the box for ages 12+ because the prompts require higher-level thinking to figure out how to act them, but if you play in teams the younger kids can be given a part to act and of course they love shouting out guesses. I *especially* appreciate that the prompts are family-friendly (one card has a “kiss” for a crush, and one has a horse’s “butt”, that’s as racy as they get).

lots of laughing to the point of tears
I debated giving four or five stars, but then I reflected on the fact that I took a video of our family playing it with tears streaming down their faces and doubled over with laughter and decided I had to go with a five. The premise is easy. Take turns with the actor drawing a card and having 15 seconds to act out some ridiculous prompt. Everyone else writes down their guess. The actor then shuffles and reads out the guesses along with the prompt and others have to guess which answer is the real one. Actor gets points when others guess correctly. Person guessing gets point for answering correctly. Person also gets point when someone else guesses the answet they supplied (instructions are more detailed but that’s the gist).None of us originally thought 15 seconds was enough time but after one round we concluded it was. Surprised they don’t provide a timer and we started using a phone’s timer but then decided we didn’t need that. The guesses — and the acting — were very, very funny. Easy to play. Can spend as little or as much time playing as you like. So far, we’ve played with four but there are enough pieces for 6 to play and could theoretically have only 3.We have over 100 board games so we’ve seen a lot and this one has earned a place in the rotation.
