Why I Got This:I wanted something active, sensory, and fun that could be used indoors — especially during bad weather — and that would keep kids moving without screens. This looked like a great combo of balance training and imaginative play.What I Liked:🧠 Multi-Sensory Texture: The different surface patterns (bumps, stripes, waffle) really do stimulate the feet. It’s fun and functional — like a light massage while playing.🧒 Kid-Friendly + Grown-Up Friendly: My kid loved jumping from “lava” to “bridge” with the mats. My son enjoys it his own way, and I’m sure he’ll appreciate it even more as he grows.
My husband ordered this for our 2-year old son.There are no instructions for play/use, so I guess he just makes it up as he goes along. This encourages him to be creative which is good.I do like the way the balance pod textures feel on the feet, like a little massage. They are pretty, vibrant colors and definitely seem durable.But, they are a little smaller than I would have expected.My young son will have trouble balancing on them, currently, because of their small size, but I’m sure the older he gets the more use he will get out of it.It is good for indoor or outdoor use.The ”lightweight fabric mats” are basically like long mouse pads.Overall, it seems a little costly for what it is.My son loves to arrange them out on the floor to make a road or track for his cars/ trains.I do appreciate the bag/ case for this toy, to keep it all together.

These can take the weight of an adult to show your kid how to use the
My toddler loves playing with these, they are very easy to inflate and set up for an obstacle course. He is also young enough that he is still learning his colors so we play the game of, “go stand on the blue step” he loves it! It was easy to over inflate them, or that might be the design to increase balance needed. But for my 2 year old I have the backs pretty flat and my plan is to increase the air. Air he gets older to make them more challenging! Personally they look super fun to play on and cute! My husband has stood on them to show the toddler how to do it and they took his weight, so high quality and big enough if needed for an adult.The toddler doesn’t yet understand the purpose of the small mats, he’s is just enjoying the balance pods. They will be added with age, but we look forward to it!

Interesting set but with problems
Interesting set but with problems. All the inflatable steps round out on the bottom so they don’t sit flat. It doesn’t make them worthless but it’s not how they look in the pictures and obviously they are a little wobblier to stand on. They are also pretty small. And POINTY. I personally can’t have all those pointy pieces poke my feet and have a good time. My kid seems to manage them ok but it’s not played with round the clock or anything. Knowing what I know now about them, I might have looked for another set.

A lot of fun for little ones!
As a preschool teacher I am always on the lookout for fun gross motor activities we can do during rainy and cold days at school when we can’t go outside. This little pack looked like it would be a lot of fun. When it came to my house, though, my 4 and 7 year olds took it over. I figured it would be a good trial period to see if it would be fun for my students. We opened up the pack and there are 5 stepping stones and several mats with either a wooden bridge print or a stone steps over lava print. The pack comes with a pump to up the stepping stones and this is where I removed a star. It was quite difficult to get the pump piece in far enough to pump it up without puncturing the stone. Also it was hard to tell how much to pump it up. I definitely over-inflated one or two. However my kiddos have been playing happily for half an hour already and getting along (HURRAY!)! That’s worth 4 stars on its own!

It’s basically the floor is lava the game and it’s incredible
When I first saw this listing my initial thought was oh my God it’s “the floor is Lava of the game” and well there is nothing in the listing or on the game to imply that they were going for when my kids saw it and began using it that’s immediately what they called it as well and they all absolutely adore it and we’re talking age ranges from 13 down to five both boys and girls! It was incredibly easy to set up I will say it somewhat easier cleaning it on grass and dirt although that does mean having to tidy up a little bit when you’re done. It is absolutely worth it for the price ultimately it’s actually probably more fun especially for a lot of kids to get more than one game so it would be nice if they offered a version of it that offered more pieces just to become a larger group of children.
