HIGHLY recommended for ladies with PCOS/hirsutism!
Pros: Cheap, close shave with minimal stubble, not overly irritating to the skin, no facial redness, works well to “spot correct” missed shaving spotsCons: Still a shave (not full hair removal from the root like a wax), some stubble, doesn’t last as long as a waxAll right, ladies! Let’s talk about female facial hair.I’m not talking about cute, little peach fuzz. I’m talking dark, coarse, pubescent-teenage-boy-beard hair. But on a 20-something-year-old woman. As someone diagnosed with PCOS, part of the way my symptoms manifest is through hirsutism, or thick, dark hair on my face and neck. Prior to quarantine, I scheduled regular full face waxes every 3 weeks. (I really probably could have done them more frequently, but I’m not made of money…) If I let it go any longer than that, the beard and mustache got embarrassingly ridiculous.(For those of you ladies who can rock the natural look, you’re my heroes! I am not that secure in my femininity.)Flash forward to everything closing in quarantine. Without the option to get a wax but the necessity of showing my face in video calls, I ordered these facial trimmers, and I am IN LOVE. I can get an incredibly close shave (that feels almost as smooth as after a wax) for a FRACTION of the price. Plus, I can shave on my own time as often as needed, without having to schedule a wax somewhere else. I do need to do a trim every few days, but it’s super quick and easy to maintain! Some tips for using this product for bodacious, bearded ladies:- Shave in the shower. I don’t use a mirror, but I find shaving under running water helps speed the process and reduce irritation. I tried shaving dry once, and it hurt. If you miss a spot, you can always wet a small area at the sink and correct later!- Shave in all directions. Up, down, across. I find this helps get that smooth, almost post-wax feel. You will still have some stubble (it’s a razor, duh), but it can be super minimal. Be sure to be gentle with your strokes, though; it is a blade on your face.- Aftercare. After my shower, I dab the shaved areas with Witch Hazel on a cotton pad, and then I apply an unscented post-shave balm (designed for men’s faces, so I assume it’s good for mine). I wait a little while and then continue my skincare/makeup routine as normal. Remember that shaving your face physically exfoliates the skin in addition to removing hair, so care for your skin accordingly. I don’t have particularly sensitive skin, but this product hasn’t caused irritation for me. (Other than the time I shaved dry. Just don’t do it.)Finding these trimmers has literally saved me around $100/month. I was skeptical that shaving my face would work anywhere near as well as a wax, but I’m glad I was forced to prove myself wrong. I usually use my trimmer 2-3 times a week and replace it every 4th or 5th use. Store it in a clean, dry place (i.e., NOT on the side of your tub/shower) to prevent bacteria buildup. The packaging recommends these for eyebrow trimming, but I don’t trust myself not to shave off half my eyebrow accidentally. I will definitely be getting a brow wax once things reopen; I’m leaving that to the professionals. I may still get a full face wax every once in a while, but this product helps me maintain a smooth face for a fraction of the cost, plus I don’t have any post-wax redness/irritation.I also use one of these to “spot correct” any spots I miss when shaving my legs, etc. I just dampen the area with water and use the trimmer, and it works great! Be careful on the back of your knees, though; the one time I cut myself was trimming a spot I missed on the back of my knee.TL;DR: I highly recommend this for women dealing with PCOS/hirsutism. It won’t last as long as a wax, but you can get almost as smooth of a removal for a price you can’t beat!

Easy to Use and Works Well
These little razors make touch-ups super simple. They’re sharp enough to remove peach fuzz and shape my brows without tugging or scratching. The handles are lightweight but easy to control, and the precision cover is handy for smaller areas. They’re also great for dermaplaning, my skin feels smoother, and makeup goes on better afterward. They’re affordable, effective, and way more convenient than booking an appointment for a quick clean-up. Just be gentle with pressure, and they work like a charm.

Reliable and affordable eyebrow razors
Overall, these are great eyebrow razors! Compared to their competitors, they are much more affordable (especially if you buy them on Prime Day). They are lightweight and sleek. They are very easy to hold and use, especially because of the grip on the handle and the angle of the blade. The blade is sharp enough to remove even thick, course eyebrow hairs and goes through fine baby hairs with ease. However, the blades get dull fairly fast, so I go through a package every 3-4 weeks. I also do not recommend using them once dull, as they can definitely irritate or cut your skin. The blade guide takes some getting used to but helps me achieve a perfect arch for my eyebrows. These are so much faster and more convenient and economical than waxing or plucking. It takes me about two minutes to do both eyebrows and my upper lip.

Best dermaplaning razors
These are my favorite razors for face touch ups. They’re sharp enough to remove peach fuzz and dead skin without irritating and the handle makes them easy to control. I’ve tried other brands but always come back to these because they work so well and last through multiple uses. They leave my skin super smooth and make makeup go on flawlessly.

Good…. if you’re really careful
Some of the user reviews are a little off on this product but kinda hit the right point(s) in that this product’s blades are much too sharp, but if you’re cutting yourself you’re likely using the product in the wrong way, which is expected if you’ve never used a similar product. I will say, they have no right being that sharp, but then again, they do a great job in a few different areas including (but not limited to) taking off side burns and getting hairs that are in hard to reach spots. They do a great job with eyebrows specifically, that’s probably what I’d use them for, but they can be used for other parts of your face if you’re extremely careful. Oil might help mitigate some of the issues you’ll experience, though, but I’ll say to use this product in front of the mirror where you can see what you’re doing, and go extremely slowly when you’re shaving. You should NEVER go fast with this product, it doesn’t seem like safety of user was the first thing in mind when it was being made. It’s not the worst thing I’ve ever used, but if you’re cutting yourself, it’s most likely on you not understanding the product, but that’s kind of expected when trying to use something new.. I’ll just say, be careful and it’ll work fine for most people that don’t have super sensitive skin. Otherwise, maybe try sanitizing the product first if you’re experiencing breakouts.

Great razor
Was looking for a new eyebrow razor, so that I could keep up my brow maintenance. This razors are great. Easy to use. You get 3 in the pack, so they will last a long time. Very sturdy. The best part is that, they have a guide attachment, that helps to ensure a perfect result. Highly recommend these, im no professional, so the guide attachment scores 5 stars with me.

I honestly only bought these little things because I got an at-home IPL device that works best on freshly-shaven hair, and I didn’t feel like using a normal razor on my upper lip/sideburn area. I’d heard about these little single-blade razors before, and the reviews were amazing, so I gave them a try. And WOW. I tried small sections at first because I REALLY did not want to deal with a nasty stubble situation all over my face, but by now I’m using it all over my face and neck, and have recommended it to my younger sister.Okay, first of all, if you’re looking for something besides waxing to deal with upper lip/sideburn/chin hair, this is a great choice. My hair isn’t TOO dark, but definitely NOT blonde in these areas, and this is SUCH a quick and easy solution. You do notice the hair growing back, but it doesn’t grow back thicker (that IS a myth). If your hair isn’t too dark or thick, you’d be able to use this twice a week on these areas without worrying about stubble. And the super nice thing is that even if your hair IS dark and/or thick, you just do it more often. It takes two seconds, you don’t need to wet your face or use creams or anything, so I think you could probably use these razors every day to keep the stubble at bay. At the very least, this is a GREAT quick-fix for in-between waxes.Second: Eyebrows. My eyebrows, at least, grow back quickly and are VERY dark, so this is definitely just a quick-fix if I don’t have time to pluck them for some reason. However! Those fine hairs floating around your brows that are a PAIN to pluck have breathed their last–I used to wax those off but this is WAY faster and WAY more precise. You get such a sharp, clean line with all those little hairs gone, and since they don’t grow back all at once and aren’t very thick, shaving them is a no-brainer now that I’ve seen how well it works. Finally, your all-around face. I’ve never much cared about the fine blonde peach-fuzz that everyone has on their face, but I tried shaving it off and I will never go back. Mostly because shaving does such an amazing job of exfoliating your skin, but also because my makeup goes on so much more flawlessly on a hair-free face. It’s so much smoother and more natural-looking not sitting on top of hair! I do this 1-2 times a week, and that’s enough for me. You do NOT see these hairs growing back as stubble–but you CAN feel them if you feel along your face moving against the growth. Not a big deal though–if that bothers you, just shave again! It’s so quick!
