Dark legible lead.
I am 67 years old and buy these for myself. The lead is thick so it doesn’t break easily and is nice and dark. The pencil diameter is easy to hold. The eraser works well. These pencils are perfect for puzzle books, grocery lists, or anytime you want dark, legible writing.

Best pencil!
These are the best mechanical pencils! I love how thick they are. I would say they would be good for kids learning to write as well. They don’t brake easy. The only thing is that when I use them I typically play with the eraser taking it off and putting it back on. Which eventually wears down the erase and will not hold the eraser. So, if you would do that just know that it could fall out. Other than that I like them a lot!

Good Quality, Thick Pencils!
I love these thick pencils! They are also in a triangular shape which some say is easier for them to grip. I like the way the writing looks (a little thicker) better than the regular no. 2 pencil. It also comes with replacement led so you start out with a few spares which is nice! the led is less sharp and more round, which I personally like. Paper Mate always has good quality products!

Highly recommendThe best mechanical pencil I have ever used, it writes really nice , the lead is hard and doesn’t break like most other brands do. The only reason I didn’t give a 5 is that the erasers fell out of 1 and I can’t find it and I wish it had a clip to clip it on my writing pad

Love it for home use!
Such a great tool! I wish I had these when I was younger in school. It writes like a pencil, but no need to sharpen it and doesn’t break its lead so easily like a mechanical pencil. It is easy and comfortable to use. My kids prefer to use this over a regular pencil and it comes in such fun colors.
