I got this to monitor… something!
I’m way too old to have any babies around the house, except possibly grandbabies… but I’ve wanted one of these for years and I got the opportunity to get one. I can honestly say it is a fun item to play with, and I can see that it would be very useful for a young mother and father. The normal stuff of downloading the app and linking it to the camera took only a short time, and I didn’t experience any problems. You do have to decide if you’re going to use local storage (in the form of a micro-SD card) if you want to store video without purchasing their cloud-based storage. The longest time I spent during setup was searching my house to find JUST ONE of hundreds of SD cards I have. Purchasing the relatively-cheap cloud storage may be a good consideration for actual baby monitoring, but in my case, it was unnecessary.Initially, I set it up to monitor my cat… I put it in her food/water area so I was sure to get some action soon. I was honestly surprised at the picture quality… it’s very clear, even when the lighting was just the ambient light through a window. At one point my cat approached the camera when it moved, and I was able to see her whiskers clearly. Nice quality!I love my cat but monitoring her quickly got boring, so I had to think of something else to monitor. My wife had already ruled out the idea of monitoring the shower (just kidding!) So I moved it to a place where we can see our hummingbird feeders… and it remains there to this day. We actually watch this monitor to see the hummingbirds… and I’ve even cast the picture onto my 120″ home theater screen so we can watch it there. It’s mesmerizing! After the hummingbirds depart, I will find a new spot for this… its setup is trivial, just move it where it can get a reasonable WiFi signal. As I write this, it is currently priced where it’s a no-brainer to purchase. If I were doing the “babies” thing all over again, no doubt I’d have one of these in the nursery. I’m sorry this didn’t exist in the 1980s!Recommend.

Amazing Monitor! Connect Anywhere!
I’ve been using Nooie monitors for a couple years now and I have nothing but amazing things to say about their cameras/monitors! This will be the third monitor I’ve ordered from them and they have been nothing but satisfactory for everything you could need in a baby monitor.I would say the one thing that I love most about Nooie is the app; it is super easy to navigate and set to your preferences. They have motion detection sensitivity levels, a detection zone you can alter, a schedule as to when you want to receive motion alerts, sound detection that includes cry detection, motion tracking, night vision, storage options if you have a separate micro-SD card, and more. There are a lot of great features they provide, so I would not be doubtful in that category. The other thing I love is that I can connect to my cameras (as long as they are connected to WiFi) from anywhere. If my wife and I are out on a date, we can check in on them while they are sleeping. You do not need to be connected to the same WiFi to see the live feed, which is a really nice feature. The quality is always great too; I’ve never had a distorted image/video or issues connecting to these cameras. The other nice feature is the mounting capabilities of this camera. You can obviously set it on a dresser, but I took a picture of the bottom of this one to show you what the mounting connection looks like. I’m sure you could buy something from Nooie’s site that is compatible, but it just seems like your standard camera-to-tripod screw on connection. The setup on these cameras through the Nooie app is also extremely intuitive and not hard to follow. I even take these with me traveling sometimes and as long as you have the WiFi details of wherever you will be, then you can easily reset the camera and reconnect it to your destination WiFi.Overall, I’ve been a huge fan of Nooie over the years and I can vouch for the products quality. Highly recommend adding this to your baby room to make it easy to monitor your kids. Super pleased with it and no complaints!

There is a safety issue. Other than that, it is a good camera
1. Must be plugged in the whole time. Not a wireless2. The safety Issue: Not safe for screw in mounting upside down, the female thread (Gold part that connects the camera to the wall mount) is not glued or securely connected to the Camera itself, it will come out and it will fall off and if you mount this camera above an infant crib, an accident will happen leaving potential injury to infant. I have returned and exchanged item for this reason thinking it was damaged camera parts that I received but apparently they all come in like this.3. If mounted on wall, must be in an upright position only!!!!!4. Good Camera. Although if you face it against the window light, it will not have good quality.5. Only connects with 2.4 WIFI6. The wire/cord that came with it is too short if you plan on mounting the camera to the wall. You will need to buy another cord for it.7. It does not come with the camera holder that mounts the camera on the wall. You will need to buy it separately.**I hope these helps.

Keeps you in view all the time.
It does not show full view all the time. And you have to pay to get 2-way speech.
