Why did you pick this product vs others?:bought for my great granddaughter!  Highly recommended

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Dangerous product that doesn’t work
This is the WORST baby monitor. If anything goes wrong you have to go through a bot- they literally have no customer phone number or email. You have to chat through the app to a bot. It’s the most frustrating thing in the world. Also it’s terrible at logging any sleep activity. I am constantly getting alerts saying baby rolled over even when it’s just her hand over her eyes. I am so mad that I bought two of these at the same time for my kids. I cannot return and I hate it with a passion. My sons camera won’t even log any footage. The chat bot repeatedly says to check the WiFi connection and every time the wifi speed and quality is where it needs to be or higher. I like to review footage some nights due to my child’s health and I cannot do so with my sons monitor. DO NOT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!

Six Years with Cubo AI and Still the Best Baby Monitor”
Tl;Dr – buy it. Especially if you’re a paranoid parent. We bought our first Cubo AI baby monitor back in 2019 (probably close to their original release) and it has been with us through years of parenting. Honestly, we’ve loved it from day one. The few hiccups we’ve ever had were tied to our Wi-Fi—not the Cubo itself (it’s simple, people… Have good Internet, and a high quality mesh system router, and you’ll have no issues). After more than five years of continuous 24/7 use, our original Gen 1 finally started acting up with connection drops and constant resets, but I can’t think of many pieces of tech that run that hard for that long without eventually wearing out.I made the mistake of trying a cheaper monitor with my second child, and it was quickly returned in favor of ordering out Gen 2 Cubo, which still works perfectly. Nothing compares to Cubo. With our third coming soon, we knew exactly what we wanted, so we tried troubleshooting the Gen 1. Customer service was solid and, to my surprise, offered a very fair trade-in deal for a new Gen 3. I didn’t think twice about putting in my order.Highlights:Reliability: It just works. And when it doesn’t, support has been responsive and fair.Video quality: Truly excellent. I’m a self-admitted paranoid parent who checks for breathing at night. With Cubo, I can see my child’s chest rise and fall—even in plain pajamas, or the subtle shift of a blanket as they breathe. That’s how crisp it is, and this has saved me MANY times from a sleepless night. Without Cubo I would have been getting up to check my child’s breathing, probably making too much noise and waking them up, OR laying in bed worried and debating whether I should take the chance of waking them. ESPECIALLY when they are sick. Yes, we’ve caught the norovirus on live video and were in our son’s room before he even called out for help.Split-screen & anywhere access: Whether the kids are with a babysitter or sleeping in their own rooms, I can check in from anywhere. And being able to see both monitors at the same time is so nice. That’s a newer feature that I was thankful for.Rewind capability: If I want to see how long they were awake in the night, I can. More useful than you’d think…Safety alerts: We didn’t rely much on the rollover alerts, but they worked well when tested. The only minor downsides: The rewind function feels overly touch-sensitive, almost like spinning a too-loose wheel. It’s not unusable, just fiddly. Also, the app tends to stay running in the background, which drains phone battery—though I’ve solved that by manually force-stopping it. Both are tiny issues compared to everything Cubo gets right.I see Cubo has mixed reviews out there, and I honestly don’t get it. After years of use, I can say this monitor has been one of our best parenting investments. It’s reliable, the video quality is second to none, and the peace of mind it gives me is priceless. We’ve owned Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3, and I wouldn’t use anything else.

    It’s super meh.
We’ve had this for a while now and we would not purchase it again.Firstly the monitor cord has to run along the wall beside the crib and it’s quite short so once your kid is old enough to pull stuff from the wall expect it to be unplugged constantly and plugging the unit back in is a pain too. So idk get the floor stand over the wall mount. It fails to connect to the internet All. The. Time. We have routers on each floor and it still fails to connect often. The app is slow to respond and the “talk” feature seems to work sometimes but not others. It’s okay but not for the price. The camera quality is good, sound is fine. Sometimes it will stop playing the sound and we can’t figure out why but if you relaunch the app it works again.

    Work but not worth
I think this cam can fit most of basic needs for monitoring a new born baby. But the product does not measure up to its price. Its camera cannot be adjusted using the apps but has to be done manually. While it positions itself a “AI” monitoring cam, it’s “AI” is not very smart and always pops up with false alarm that is quite disturbing.

good baby monitor, bad customer support
I bought this as a replacement for our previous Cubo that just died. The camera itself is fine, while it works. Picture is ok, AI detection is cool, breath detection is nice, sleep tracking is nice. However customer support is horrible if it stops working. AI chat on their website doesn’t help at all, only points to FAQ. For me it defaulted to Japanese even when I tried talking to it in English. There is no obvious way to reach a human.Eventually I found an email which is unhelpful as well. I haven’t asked them for replacement or refund or anything, and they treat me as if I need to prove something, like I am trying to scam them. Very disappointing customer experience.

    Repeatedly Disconnects From Wifi
It is a well built product, feels really sturdy and is super cute. It has great features, was easy to set up, and good video quality. Unfortunately, it will not stay connected to wifi. We have reconnected multiple times just to have it disconnect again. All of our other devices are not having an issue, so we’re not sure what to do. Having to reconnect throughout the day is just not feasible. I don’t believe I can recommend this product due to the connection reliability.

Works very well, picture is clear, easy to install on wall if needed. App is user friendly. Can see camera when not at home. Lots of sound options to choose from.

The app you need for this monitor is terrible. In the three years I’ve used this product it feels like the issues have only gotten worse and I fear for the safety of the babies of the parents who rely on this truly awful app—and the extra sad thing is that this company doesn’t care. Support is so incredibly useless when you contact them. They gaslight you by blaming all their issues on your internet connectivity, when that is not the case (and all the reviews on the app in the App Store are proof). No surprise that the Premium features don’t work properly either so don’t waste your money or time with that. I wouldn’t trust purchasing the ultimate plan either. I can’t stress enough that if you want a reliable monitor that is going to keep your baby/child safe and give you peace of mind, this is NOT the product for you. If you want a monitor that alerts you sometimes, sends false alerts other times, has connectivity issues, premium features randomly stop working, has a support team that is completely useless and frustrating…then this is the monitor for you.

The CuboAi 2025 Smart Baby Monitor 3 is a feature-packed, high-quality monitor that offers peace of mind for parents. It’s more than just a camera—it’s a smart safety system with AI-powered alerts, crystal-clear video, and useful monitoring tools. What I Like:✔ Exceptional Video Quality – The 2.5K QHD resolution is crisp and clear, even at night. The night vision mode is sharp, making it easy to see fine details.✔ Smart Cry Detection & Sleep Safety Alerts – The AI-powered cry detection actually works, and the covered face and rollover alerts provide extra peace of mind.✔ Two-Way Audio – The sound quality is clear, making it easy to soothe your baby remotely or communicate with a partner in the nursery.✔ Temperature & Humidity Monitoring – A great feature for keeping an optimal sleep environment for your baby. The app sends alerts if the room gets too hot or cold.✔ Easy App Control – The CuboAi app is user-friendly and allows multiple users to check in, making it perfect for parents, grandparents, or babysitters.✔ Wall Mount for a Full View – The included wall mount keeps cables out of reach and provides a perfect top-down view of the crib. What Could Be Better:✖ WiFi Dependence – Since it runs on WiFi, a weak or spotty connection can cause lags or interruptions in video streaming.✖ Subscription for Extra Features – While the basic functions work great, some advanced AI features require a paid subscription.✖ Pricey Compared to Basic Monitors – It’s more expensive than simpler baby monitors, but the extra safety features and high-quality video justify the cost.Final VerdictThe CuboAi Smart Baby Monitor 3 is a top-tier choice for parents who want advanced monitoring, high-definition video, and smart safety alerts. It’s perfect for those who appreciate tech-driven baby care and don’t mind using an app-based system.Would I buy it again? Yes, for the peace of mind and advanced safety features, but be prepared for the reliance on WiFi and optional subscription costs.

To be clear, this isn’t the PLUS model, but the upgraded version of the original with a better stand. And honestly, the quick setup guide that you get in the box was super helpful. The stand did take some time to assemble though (it’s neat how they included a measuring tape); and although you rarely see it in the pics, the camera isn’t battery powered so you still have to feed a power cable through it. At the same time, the wall-mount bracket is only useful if the baby’s crib is against a wall so that’s something to consider. As far as video quality, it’s top notch – impressive actually. Outlines are sharp and crisp, and the colours aren’t washed out or overly saturated. The audio is also pretty good for a baby monitor. I wouldn’t say that it’s perfect, but still better than most other monitors we’ve used in the past. No issues with power supply, stand stability or noise coming from the camera.Build quality is also okay. The plastic housing shaped like a bird was slightly larger than I was expecting and feels and sounds pretty hollow inside. But the mount and USB-C power port on the back are in a good location, along with the power button, which used to be on the side on the older models. The entire unit isn’t exactly heavy, but does feel more substantial than other monitors that don’t have a movable camera lens. However, it’s not motorized so it doesn’t function like a PTZ security camera where you can control the camera angle from the app. You basically move it by hand and that’s the way it stays until you move it again. So although it does have face detection and tracking, it doesn’t actually move the lens when doing so. Probably better that way actually. Fewer things to break. Now to the functionality – on the whole, it’s OKAY, not great. Most of it has to do with the connectivity and AI. After a week of use, the camera dropped the connection probably 7-8 times – which isn’t TOO bad – but nowhere close to the reliability of other monitors that have their own dedicated band and screen. The issue is the 2 point separation – first to the home router, then to your phone. So you’re really relying on 2 signals rather than one. And just like a home security system, it comes with a bit of A/V lag. Moreover, when the signal drops, you need to physically reset the system, so that’s kind of a bummer.Fortunately, the sleep analytics on the app (which you get free for a year) are amazing. Ditto with the UI. A lot of it is based on the baby’s movements and facial expression (it doesn’t track breathing), but it’s pretty darn accurate and a massive bonus for data freaks like myself. It does have nightvision btw. We also setup a danger zone near the corner of the crib just to test out the alerts and it totally works. Didn’t get tripped much though. The biggest issue with the AI are the false alerts on the covered-face detection – most likely due to how the algorithm processes the light sensor information. I recall some people having trouble with it on older models, but it seems that it hasn’t been completely fixed on this one. Honestly, it’s not a huge deal because I’d rather have MORE alerts than have the camera miss important details, but it can become a little annoying if you’re getting at least 2-3 a day. The growth tracking is also so-so, but does give good relative numbers.Overall though, I’d say the biggest limiting factor isn’t the camera or hardware but the app. I do like the UI, but it can be a bit glitchy at times (I mentioned the connectivity problems) and the required permissions might be a little intrusive. Plus more than once we’ve had the volume on the audio suddenly jump up for no reason. Can’t say that I’ve had any of those problems with less expensive monitors, but I suppose that’s the price for access to higher tech. There’s something to be said for keeping things simple, which this monitor clearly doesn’t do. On the plus side, besides the internal transceiver, it seems like most of the issues could potentially be fixed with future software updates. So there’s definitely hope for making the user experience slightly less cumbersome.All-in-all, I’m still kind of on the fence about whether or not all the unique AI features are worth the modest amount of false alerts and connectivity drops. The picture is stellar no doubt, but having a reliable baby monitor is something that any parent can appreciate. Fortunately, I’d say that it works well MOST of the time and the speaker on the back is quite useful for playing lullabies, but there’s no question that the software could use some work. Final rating is 3.75/5 stars.

A little tricky to assemble (I got it all backwards at first and couldn’t figure out why it didn’t fit right!). There are high quality videos you can watch but still wasn’t obvious (they are mostly for the wall mounting part). I like that it comes with wire covers so it looks cleaner hanging on the wall. The device is quality made, and the design of the company logo (smiley) and little bird-shaped camera are adorable and cheerful looking for a baby’s room. The little bird camera mounts on the wall arm, or on a separate base you can have on a flat surface if you want to move it around. It secures on the via the metal pin underneath. The camera itself doesn’t move, but you can position it where you want it. Connects via an app that allows you to not only watch and hear your baby at a distance (including night vision), but also get notifications if they turn on their stomach or have their face covered for safety. Tracks baby’s growth and sleep quality. Can play lullabies or white noise (I was a white noise needing baby myself and still like it to this day!). It can be set to go off automatically when baby is detected in the crib. Neat.It comes with a 1 year free trial all of the premium app functions when you first sync it. I’m waiting til baby gets here to start it!It’s a fancy shmancy baby monitor. It’s got the price tag to go with it at 300$. I haven’t tried many other baby monitors so it’s hard for me to compare. A quick search shows that there are similar monitors in terms of function and app control for around 100$ if you don’t get the wall mounting part that seems to be the premium on the cost here. Depends if you really need that kind of set up or if you can set it on a dresser nearby for example. It is cute tho.
