Our Story

Baby Tula launched with a single ergonomic carrier that filled a gap in the market—offering comfort, function, and beautiful design in one. What began as a founder-led passion quickly grew into a cult-favorite brand, with toddler sizes, travel carriers and variety of fashions sparking a loyal following.

At its core, Tula has always been about helping parents move through daily life with confidence and style. Today, we offer a full range of carriers that combine elevated looks with all-day comfort, supporting families from newborn through toddlerhood.

STRUCTURE AND FEATURES FOR DAILY USE – The Explore is one of the few baby carriers that combines a forward-facing option with mesh ventilation and ergonomic padding. The padded leg openings, structured torso, and adjustable neck pillow help support your baby’s comfort during everyday use or extended outings.
THREE ERGONOMIC CARRYING OPTIONS – The Baby Tula Explore baby carrier supports three positions to match your baby’s stage of development. You can carry your child facing inward on the front, outward on the front, or on your back. Each position is designed to support your baby’s hips and spine in an ergonomic seated posture.
CARRIES FROM NEWBORN TO TODDLER – This baby carrier newborn to toddler adjusts to fit babies from 7 to 45 pounds. The seat width and panel height can be modified as your child grows. An adjustable neck pillow supports your child’s head and adds height as needed. No infant insert is required for newborn use.
BREATHABLE MESH FOR ALL-SEASON COMFORT – Soft mesh fabric covers the entire body of this baby carrier newborn to support airflow during extended wear. Breathability helps keep caregivers and babies cool in different environments and climates. The mesh is smooth against the skin and easy to clean.
SUPPORTIVE DESIGN FOR LONG WEAR – This baby carrier includes padded shoulder straps, a wide waistband, and added lumbar support to help distribute weight evenly. The carrier can be adjusted to fit caregivers with waist sizes up to 57 inches and includes an optional extender for added length.

    Excellent baby carrier!
Excellent carrier! Great structure and support. Mesh panel is very breathable. Love how you can adjust the width to accommodate infant.

    Fave carrier
I am obsessed with this carrier after one day. It’s easy to get a good fit with my baby. The other carriers end up coming up above his ear which isn’t good for keeping airways clear but this one is height adjustable so that doesn’t happen. We got the black mesh and it came with the new neutral colored logo which I think it more aesthetically pleasing than the orange one.

    Most comfortable baby carrier!
Let me first tell you about the other carriers & wraps I’ve tried or that I have and then I’ll tell you how much I love this Tula one!Beco Gemini: We were given a Beco Gemini carrier as a gift. We have tried to put our LO in it but it’s really long and she’s on the smaller side (9lbs at 2 months), so she never seems quite comfortable. She will slide down in it and it can be tough to adjust to fit her right now. The material is thick, which does not seem super comfortable right now in the summer but will be great for colder weather and when she’s a bit bigger and fits more properly.WildBird Sling: Loved the idea of the simplicity of it, but don’t feel it gives enough support for my LO right now. I can see it being helpful later on.Boba Wrap: Love this for around the house and for keeping baby close. However, there is a learning curve to putting it on (I watched lots of videos!) and in a pinch, you still have to wrap it up before putting baby in and sometimes I want it to happen quicker (and she does too!)This Tula carrier: love it!!! Right out of the box and with 1 video and reading through the booklet, I was able to adjust it for my 2 month old and put it on and get situated. Really easy to adjust and super comfortable when on! The straps are nice and cushioned and I like how they snap in the back instead of criss cross, like some other carriers (I always felt they crept up my back that way). My LO doesn’t love having her legs out but this carrier adjusts to a really narrow width at the bottom for small babies so that their feet can stick out and keeps the important M shape they need. The top also adjusts down so that the length of the carrier is not too long for your LO – so that their head can be supported but also out enough for you to see them. Love those 2 adjustable features and it’s so easy to do solo! Love that the material is softer and not as stiff as others and it helps that they have cute designs! I love this black with stars design. The marketing & design is their packaging and the product overall is great. I also like the pouch in the front that can hold your phone and money and keys. Bigger (width wise – more expandable) than what’s on the Beco Gemini. Love love love this! Get it!!!

    Comfortable, Easy-to-Use Baby Carrier
I absolutely love this baby carrier! It’s very easy to use and even comes with step-by-step instructions, complete with words and pictures, which makes figuring it out simple. The material feels sturdy and well-made, and the adjustable clips make it easy to get the perfect fit for different body sizes. It’s comfortable for both me and my baby, and it allows me to be completely hands-free while still keeping my little one close and calm. I can get household tasks done with ease. The only thing I wish I had noticed before purchasing is that it doesn’t support a front-facing carry, which would have been nice, especially since we often use it at church. That said, it’s still an excellent carrier, a great value for the money, and I highly recommend it, especially for first-time moms looking for something supportive, comfortable, and easy to use!

    Great carrier for beginners
I’m a first time mom with a 4 month old. I have an older style Ergobaby carrier that my daughter just doesn’t like using, so we decided to bite the bullet and give this a try. I appreciate having more options to adjust the fit of the carrier as my daughter grows and even between everyone in my family. It’s a bit chunky, but it’s slimmer than my ergobaby. The carrier is super well made, very adjustable, and I feel better knowing my baby is safe because I can adjust the height, seat width, and the straps to help her breathe and not feel too hot or uncomfortable. I use this carrier when I don’t want to bring a stroller with me, or when strollers may be too bulky. My daughter is a real Velcro baby, so being able to do a little more around the house has been a real lifesaver.

    I LOVE THIS TULA.
First things first, I love the standard Tula and I always will. But. This thing is the bomb. Seriously. No infant insert? Fantastic. I used the standard with my first baby and the insert is pretty inconvenient, let’s just face it. It was great on its own, but that’s a review for another day. 🙂 What I love about the Free-to-grow is it’s versatility. Even more than the standard, which is front and back carry. I’m using the free-to-grow for my second baby, who is now two months old. It did take some time to get it figured out, but once we did, I was hooked and have been ever since. He is so happy to be close to me without being wrapped up so tightly, like with a Moby. No insert means you can take them straight from the car seat and put them right into the carrier. No need to look for a safe place to lay them while you get them strapped to it. Wear it at home, even, to get the chores done and not have to run back and forth to quiet the crying baby who just wants to be held. And, if for no other reason, it’s just fun to wear! The instruction manual is clear about how to use it and resize it for each age and weight, which is 7-45lbs. That’s like a 4 year span of time for use out of the thing. For the price, YES! You really can’t go wrong. I recommend it to all moms and dads who want to babywear. It’s totally worth it, I promise. Treat yourself to something amazing and buy this Tula!!

    Not supportive enough
I know a lot of people love Tula FTG, however for me it was not comfortable or supportive enough. I ended up going with the wildbird aerial carrier for the extra back support.
