Works out of the box!! Can’t beat the price for the quality/variety of features for this plug-n-play buyer. I first purchased a Eufy system at enormous cost and had so much trouble everything set up, I returned everything. Then the search was on for a simple, functional monitoring system that had security features (encryption) which is very important to me. This little camera works perfectly for my needs. I can target exactly what I need to look at, has good pan/zoom, and was super easy to set up. I know it won’t have the same picture quality as higher end camera systems but it turns out I don’t need to pay a fortune for interior cameras to see/hear what I want to see/hear. And, I like that it does have a two-way talk feature. Overall very happy with this purchase!

Mid-level monitor
This baby monitor is fine. It works, but I’m not in love with it. I mostly wanted it so I didnt have to use my phone all the time while my son is napping. I like the included monitor, but it takes a long time for the screen to turn on. The temperature display is a nice bonus.I initiator tested this by connecting it to my phone, but after I used the included monitor one I was never able to get it to connect to my phone again.I like the picture quality. Even in the dark it’s very clear and the microphone is fairly good. My last monitor made my son sound like a demon when he cried.I thi k there are better cameras you can get in this price point, so I don’t really think this one is worth the cost.

The ARENTI Smart Baby Monitor with Camera and Audio, 1080P PTZ Camera with 5-inch Screen has a lot of great features that can be used for babies, pets, and even elderly parents.The setup is pretty straightforward. You need to first download the Arenti app. It is a good idea to look at the app first before purchasing to review their privacy policy.It does come with a USB C cable for both the monitor (that is portable and rechargeable) and for the camera that needs to be connected to an electrical outlet. It also comes with the USB block and mounting brackets. It comes with a small pin, because one point in the setup, you will need to reset the camera. The reset button is a very small pinhole at the bottom of the camera. The instructions will tell you when to do that. I’m attaching a photo of the thin metal pin because it’s easy to miss with all the other items included.To set up, you plug the camera in and it takes a few minutes before you’ll start to hear and see the camera move. You go on the app and on the very top there’s a plus sign to add a device. For setup you will need to give permission for; location, microphone, nearby devices and Bluetooth. The Bluetooth enables it to find your Wi-Fi and you will need your password. You also have to make sure your phone is set to the 2.4 GHz for the Wi-Fi. Once it’s set up, you can change your phone to the 5 GHz. During the setup on the camera you’ll have red lights that show initially and then blue lights. On the app it will ask you if you see those lights to go on to the next step.Once you have it set up, you can press the power button on the monitor on the top. You do have to hold it down for a couple of seconds then you can view the camera.The camera quality is excellent on both my phone and on the monitor. It has a lot of great features that are listed in there and an easy to use guide that’s included. Having a separate camera monitor instead of having to look on your phone is a great feature on this product – especially that it’s portable.One important thing to note if there’s even a possibility that you might need two cameras instead of one, I would suggest visiting the Arenti Store, they do sell two cameras that work with one monitor with a split screen. Just like another reviewer mentioned that if you buy everything separately you would have multiple monitors that you would have to use.Overall, this is a very useful camera that has a very clear picture and sound with a lot of great features that makes it easy to monitor when at home or away.

Great Camera and Monitor!
This ARENTI Camera/Monitor combo is perfect for keeping an eye on our little one during bedtime. This product comes with the camera, a monitor, two USB-C charging cables, one for the monitor and one for the camera, and mounting hardware. Setup for this couldn’t have been simpler, you just plug the camera in and turn the monitor on, and they’re already paired and connected, so you can starting viewing right away. I also paired the camera to my ARENTI app, which was slightly more involved since you have to connect it to the WiFi, but was still very straightforward.After getting it setup, the first thing I noticed was how clear the camera was. The picture quality is noticeably better than the other baby cameras I have, which is definitely nice. The night vision is also very clear. It’s easy to rotate the camera with the monitor or app, as well as zoom in if needed. Both the monitor and app feature a talkback function that works well. The camera itself has a call button that will ring your phone when pushed. I can see this being useful when our daughter is older and understands better when and how to use that feature. The monitor will keep sound on even after the screen goes to sleep, which is a nice feature I haven’t seen on similar products. And of course with the app, you can setup movement and sound alert notifications with a custom frequency and sensitivity.My one minor compliant is that you can only have one person signed into the app at a time, so my wife and I can’t both be viewing the baby from our phones. However, this is made mostly irrelevant by the inclusion of the monitor. All in all, I have been extremely pleased with this camera and monitor, and plan to use it for many years to come.
